He applied for The Bachelorette Australia to look for love with Sam Frost earlier this year.
But it seems hopeful Sasha Mielczarek also had other things on his mind after he revealed he has always wanted to pursue a career in front of the camera.
The 30-year-old told TV WEEK magazine that he auditioned for a segment on Channel Nine's Getaway six years ago in hope of making his dreams come true.

'They got four young people to go on a caravan and travel across the US,' he told the publication while adding it was a similar set out to Hamish Blake and Andy Lee's Caravan Of Courage television series. at 24 I think I would have applied to do that too - sounds like fun!! a bit like the "World's Greatest Job" thing also ... thousands applied for that
'I put in my application with a video,' he continued while adding he 'made it to the final eight' before being cut during the last audition.
But while he finds himself as one of the final three standing as the Bachelorette's finale draws near, Sasha said he hopes the show gives him a helping hand in the high demand entertainment industry.

Over the past week the construction manager has found himself making headlines thanks to his blossoming bromance with fellow Bachelor's Dave Billsborrow and Davey Lloyd, as well as being linked to this year's winner of Sam's heart.
Last week Sam slipped to the Daily Telegraph that she thought Sasha could have been 'the one' from early stages of the dating show.

'[I thought he could be "the one"] pretty much as soon as I first met him. We had instant chemistry and it was refreshing to be a bit nervous,' she told the publication before adding it took her longer to develop a connection with finalists Michael Turnbull and Richie Strahan.
She added to the newspaper that the Sydney resident 'is caring and nurturing and honestly just wants the best for everyone.
'He's very funny and one of the most intelligent people I've ever met.'
The Bachelorette Australia continues on Network 10 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm.
