The Bachelorette

I think he's started bawling lol and Sam subsequently felt bad and thus no reunion with the other guys for either of them.
No guy wants to cry on national TV.
I like this theory! Sam said in that radio interview the other day that she thinks Davey "has a good heart" even though "he doesn't show it often, but he does". So maybe he did cry and she did feel bad... I would prefer this to an ugly end, at least.

I'm away this week, so haven't watched the show in real time - but I did come across this article, which was interesting and a bit sad, about Davey: http://m.dailytelegraph.com.au/news...hile-on-the-show/story-fngr8hax-1227562220902

It doesn't really change my opinion on Davey, but I did find it interesting that it was happening in the background.

Anyways, I'm super team Richie after this week. What an awesome chap!

So maybe he did break down and tell her about this or maybe he shutdown and said he'd prefer to go ... either way it was better not to make him go through a rose ceremony or the "in car" interview ... at least they showed him some respect in that
It was definitely his time to go though ... he wasnt what Sam was looking for .. i dont see him as ready to settle down

from that article, re Davey:

"He said he was confused by trailers for last night’s show which asked “what did Davey do?” – saying he had no idea what he was supposed to have done.

“There’s so much negativity. I can get battered down, but how much can I be humble?”

He added that comments made about him on social media are starting to get to him too — and that handling the attention had been intense."

Oh, the poor little schnook. Apart from having a tiny snicker at 'how much can I be humble?' I really felt for him, reading that. It's true. He didn't actually do anything. I mean, the worst thing he did was that jokey kiss move, when he turned his face around and she got his mouth instead of cheek. Sam kept him in way too long, should of let him go in a normal rose ceremony, and acted liked he'd duped her. More fool her, I'd say. He was so obviously a lad, with all his lines, and she kidded herself he was otherwise. He did nothing wrong.

I really don't like when she screws up her mouth and narrows her eyes and gives the male who is failing to impress that 'shrewd' expression. It's like she's the mother and they're the naughty boys. She did it to David The International Model, with a whole shitball of fury added on.

She is not a shrewd judge of character. (Sasha! Cough.) And punishing the men for her lack of judgment, and because she's made foolish choices in the past (hey, haven't we all), and is in her mind not about to be duped again... Well, just be pleasant, and don't be duped! And be a bit more observant. There's no need to send these men off with that furious face and that punishing attitude, to make them pay for her earlier choices.

She tossed that many men without a thought, who would not have duped her, without bothering to get to know them at all and see if anything could possibly grow, other than raw lust, simply because they weren't macho or meaty enough.

Now she's got an old bald guy who's too smart for her (who is probably very pleasant but makes me think of a Big Bad Banksia Man with that clipped beard around his little pink mouth), and Richie - and three playas. Whoever she turfs next - Home Visits are going to be fun!

I love this show!

I have to laugh at Davey being pinned as a 'player'...like...how? To be a player he'd have to actually land a chick, as we saw the first night he bombed it in spectacular fashion.
Multiple relationships doesn't really mean player it means clingy, needy person that can't be alone, so he's likely jumped from relationship to relationship.
He explained this to Sam btw, I don't think she ever liked him and probably thought he was a bit of a goose, so tell him that...don't orchestrate that he has this persona that is completely impossible to believe.

He seems pretty insecure, went into the place...sees all these other guys that he's got no chance in hell competing against and overcompensates his alpha as a result.
I have to admit Sam lost a bit of her shine when that happened and now I think I'm wondering if Richie is too good for her! lol.

Wow, awesome post!!! Totally agree about the lack of shrewd judgement, confusion with lewd judgement perhaps?
It seems she's making them pay for her pile of Louis Vuitton.

Hmm.
While I may not agree with some of Sam's taste, in the end it's not who I like it's who she likes.

I suspect Davey was one of those people that they're told to keep around for some laughs (like Sandra) but when it gets to much they can get rid of them. She spent more time with him than any of us have so who's to disagree with the way she saw him anyway?

And I DO think Davey was bullshitting all those sensitive things he thought she wanted to hear too so she was spot on right there.

Also, I don't think it's fair to say that she's sent better people home because if they were better for her then they wouldn't have been.

Just like on Bachelor I may have not agreed when he sent Heather home it's not up to me, it's up to his feelings.

I don't think that because she has different taste in men than people on here including myself that it means something bad against her.

I just think he was too young for her - he might be a serial boyfriend but he's not a serious one ... what I mean is that he likes being in a relationship and having a girlfriend but he doesn't strike me as ready to settle down just yet. Doesn't make him a player and he messed up on their first introduction and gave her the wrong impression - however his actions didn't prove her impression wrong ... if he's telling you one night that he's serious and convinces you he is - enough that you send someone else home AND give him a rose to guarantee him staying on THEN does something stupid and reacts childishly ... and THEN acts like a kid on the next group date ... it just reinforced the negative impression and there was no going back from there when she has to be finding reasons to send people home.

its getting harder and harder I imagine to find reasons ...

It's not really about Sam wanting or not wanting someone, she was rude to Davey point blank and I don't think he deserved to be treated like that.
I need to watch it again but I didn't find it rude when watching last night (that said I was wanting him gone by then hence me saying I need to watch it again and leave my bias out of it)

she gets editted just as much as the others do so maybe she did come across as direct - but then again maybe she'd just had enough and wasn't going to brook any argument from him because her decision was made and she was determined

she was just laying it on the line - I think she regretted the rose she gave him that same night ... then having those doubts reinforced throughout the group date she knew what she wanted to do and had to break it to him

at least she didn't make him stew all through the cocktail party - she went straight to him to ask to talk and have it out

I don't think there was any coming back from the confusion of serious/childish Davey ... she must be having to grasp at any reason she can find from here on in

It's just the 'I've dated guys like you and it never turns out well etc' I mean what do you say to that? So I think he started crying and that's why they didn't show it.
Her choice of words definitely could have been better in my view.

Apparently he's not taking interviews either, probably wants to forget the whole show ever happened, wouldn't blame him lol.

I just hate seeing distressed people on tv.

I agree with this. She made a huge judgement call on him and lumped him in with every asshole who has ever hurt her in the past, and for what? Unless there's something major that was edited out, he didn't do anything actually wrong apart from being a blokey not particularly deep 25 year old. I didn't particularly like him, but I felt for him after reading that he watched the "WHAT DID DAVEY DO?" promos. as he says, he didn't *do* anything, he doesn't deserve to be turned into a tv villain over nothing.

I don't think he started crying - he looked frustrated ... I think he was upset and probably either DID tell her or WANTED TO but chose not to (because he realised she'd made up her mind already and was set on it perhaps?) what had been going on that she wasn't aware of - but still ... losing two friends during that time and going off to their funerals and not saying anything ... it still doesn't gel with his sometimes childish behaviour

If he's not taking interviews its probably because he doesn't want to have to talk about losing his two friends - that's way too personal and why should he have to share it - but you just know they'll keep hounding him about it. So I think it's fair enough he doesn't want to give interviews.

He did give an interview to Dan and Maz about it - and didn't seem to say that she was rude or unfair to him - just mainly saying he didn't tell her what had gone on for him ...

I don't think anyone was thinking he was a villian (not like Emily and The International Model) ... I think public opinion was already thinking he wasn't right for Sam anyway ... and they just wanted to tease us as to what caused the determined/angry face on Sam ... and we've gone from her giving him a rose and saving him one night to this already? reeling us in to watch again ...

Nah he was on Fitzy and Wippa and Dan and Maz this morning. I'm trying to see if I can listen to it online now.

But yeah I think drawing comparisons to him and her bad exes was rather unnecessary! She could have just said she didn't think he was right for her.

I do agree, she totally painted him as a prick for being there and all the dirty deeds "his type" had done to her in the past. She didn't have to paint him so colourfully and succinctly as the bad buy, nor with such obvious distrust towards his persona. She could have taken it easy on him and friend-zoned him, but no, for some reason the boots really went in.

Whether that was Sam with some coercion we don't know, but my call would be it was pretty much her, after viewing her raw reaction to David the model, and all the reasons she gave Davey (i.e. I say you're an ass, therefore I'm not interested because I know how that works out).

What's more, that footage was very awkwardly and totally cut short. I think he must have blown up in a bad way from the frustration of having to repeatedly defend himself against the shitty image she painted of him in front of the cameras. For anyone who likes viewing that sort of drama, the footage must be viewing gold.

He portrays himself as a staunch family man eager to settle down on The Bachelorette.

But Sasha Mielczarek has now been accused of pressuring his stepbrother's girlfriend to have an abortion when she was just 18-years-old, Daily Mail Australia can exclusively reveal.

Danielle Bond claims the construction manager tried to bully her into aborting her first child when she fell pregnant by his stepbrother, Jedd Ingles, in 2012.

Happier times: Danielle Bond alleges Bachelorette star Sasha Mielczarek pressured her to abort his stepbrother Jedd Ingles' (pictured) baby when she was 18 - a claim Sasha vehemently denies

'Sasha rang me up out of the blue and abused me and made me feel like crap, telling me not to have the baby,' the now 22-year-old told Daily Mail Australia.

Sasha, 30, vehemently denied such allegations when contacted by Daily Mail Australia, saying: 'I categorically deny offering such advice.'

According to Danielle, the NSW native attempted to dissuade her from having the child when she fell pregnant, allegedly insisting that neither she nor his stepbrother were ready for parenthood.

'He was giving every reason under the sun to have the abortion and said, "Jedd's not ready for a child."

'He obviously was protective of his brother, but it was pretty much [Jedd's] family that made me decide.'

Eight months later Danielle fell pregnant again and gave birth to a daughter. She says the baby is Jedd's, a claim Sasha's family also denies.

Sasha says he categorically never advised Danielle to have an abortion during her first pregnancy, and is under the impression that her daughter, now 17 months, is not his stepbrother's child.

Single mother: Danielle says she fell pregnant again just eight months later with Jedd Ingles' second child, who is now 17-months-old, but Jedd, Sasha and their family refuse to have anything to do with the little girl

'I categorically deny offering such advice,' he told Daily Mail Australia.

'This was a private family matter and a difficult decision made solely between two young people at the time.

'The information my brother has given me is that the child in question is not his and at this time I have no reason to question his advice.'

Danielle says when Sasha tried to coax her into aborting what would have been her first child, she was working at Hungry Jacks, and he questioned: 'Oh you're going to be able to raise the child on your own working at Hungry Jacks?'

It's not his: Sasha claims that Danielle's little girl is not his niece or nephew, but Danielle says that Jedd is '100 per cent' the father and she plans to get a paternity test in coming months to ensure he starts paying child support

The single mother, who is now a student, says she was shocked by Sasha's alleged behaviour and felt that because he was older and more mature, he would have not have acted in such a way.

'For someone who is giving up their baby it's really the mother's choice. He doesn't have a say,' she said.

She added that neither Sasha nor his brother had ever met her daughter, telling DMA: 'I just feel so sorry for her because she doesn't have a father.

While she is yet to undergo a paternity test, Danielle said that Jedd is '100 per cent' her daughter's father. She now plans to establish her daughter's paternity to allow her to claim child support.

'I have applied for child support but I haven't gone through with it, I really want to, but I heard off a few people it's not worth it, but he [Jedd] should get what he deserves,' she said.

Jedd Ingles could not be reached for comment when contacted by Daily Mail Australia.

During Sasha's introduction on the first episode of The Bachelorette, he was shown enjoying a coffee date with his mother Kym in their hometown of Bowral and handing her a colourful bunch of flowers.

'The most important things in my life, hands down, are family and friends,' he said in the clip.

'My mother in particular is an amazing woman and she has made me the man I am today and I've got so much love and respect for her,' he added.

Sasha is one of the favourites to win the Network Ten show after impressing Sam Frost on their first meeting.

'Not a single bone in my body would forgive him for what he has done, but I'd let him back into her life for her sake,' she said.

'I don't understand how someone could be so heartless. I wish he did have involvement with her and I wonder if he ever thinks about us.'
