On Thursday, the 35-year-old was spotted showing off his surfing skills as he splashed about at a Sydney beach.

After getting off to a great start at the first night's cocktail party, the pair haven't spent too much time together, making the British-born bachelor a little nervous.

'I had lost all bearings of what was up and what was down,' Alex admitted.

'He's quite specific about what he likes,' the source added.

With his board: The genetically blessed stud was seen keeping a firm grip on his board

'He's been single for a little while now - not too long but long enough to know what he's looking for, and he's happy to wait until he finds it,' the source said.

Clearly putting all bets on the bald-headed Brit to come away with the gold... and the Bachelorette, the source believes that Sam would be very lucky to end up with a guy like Alex.

'He's a true English gentleman and if Sam ends up with him she will have done well.'

The pair's date will air on The Bachelorette on Thursday night at 7:30pm on Channel Ten.

I missed Alex's single date because I was getting dinner and am only now watching it online. Really liking him. When he took his jacket off and thought to ask Sam if she was warm enough, that was sweet. Plus he's well-travelled and speaks so nicely.

Now I'm seeing why Sasha lost some love in this episode - it doesn't sit well with me when he said that he didn't talk about his kiss "out of respect for Sam" (I would have thought it was probably more because the kiss happened at the cocktail party and the others wouldn't have been pleased with him?) but then he had no problems grilling Alex about his kiss and dismissing it as awkward. Not respectful and not cool.

The Bachelorette’s Davey Lloyd insists he is a more mature man following bullying allegations posted online.

Davey, from Narrabeen Beach, Sydney, has become a standout star on the Channel Ten reality show thanks to his ill-advised references to ‘nipple rash’ and being a ‘girlfriend guy’.

However, the lovable carpenter has allegedly been accused of mistreating others in the past.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Davey has responded to the allegations, saying: ‘I am sorry if I caused hurt to anyone when I was younger’.

Daily Mail Australia recently uncovered a host of never-before-seen snaps which showed off the reality star's wild side.

In one now deleted picture from social media, the cheeky reality star is seen sporting a racy red bra and matching lipstick.

In the snap, the rascal is sitting cross-legged with a magazine carefully hiding his family jewels, while the rest of the guys pull various poses as they protect their own modesty.

Things quickly went south as he put Sam's guard up by describing himself as a 'full blown legend'.

But, it was about to get worse. A frank discussion of his past relationship history had the Melbourne-born beauty, who has been burnt in love before, questioning whether he was a 'ladies' man'.

Telling her 'I'm the girlfriend' guy, Davey revealed he's had seven 'solid' relationships, despite being just 25-years-old.

THE Bachelorette’s Davey Lloyd says his dream job is to be a TV personality, but will allegations of bullying and racial abuse put a stop to his showbiz success?



Responding to rumours he has a history of mistreating people, the 25-year-old South Narrabeen carpenter (above, inset and left) revealed: “I was silly and foolish during my school years, I have grown up a lot since then and I’m a different man today. I am sorry if I caused hurt to anyone when I was younger.”

Sydney Confidential understands that when one alleged victim posted her experience to The Bachelorette’s Facebook page, it was removed.

While declining to comment on specific incidents, production company Endemol Shine Australia released a statement saying: “It is our social media moderation policy to remove any posts that contain foul language, threats, trolling or abuse. While the forum is for fans to engage with the show, we also have a duty of care to participants, and so routinely try to remove defamatory comments.”

Rumours are swirling that The Bachelorette’s youngest contestant entered the mansion as a joke with his mates — but swiftly became competitive with the other 13 gentlemen in search of Sam Frost’s heart.

Romance doesn’t seem to be the first thing on his mind though, with the tradie saying that if he won the lottery he’d buy a round-the-world trip … with two of his mates. He’d also like to move to Hawaii — “because it’s close to America, and America’s where I want to party”.

Really not sure what Tony is doing there still. The editors spend so much time making me despise Sasha and ignoring people (like Kieren), also Kayne, or even Tony, who I would like to get to know somewhat before they get tossed on the not built like a brick shithouse enough pile.

Even the girls who weren't going to get anywhere with Sam Wood got enough airtime so we had a sense they'd been on the show. This lot are just nervy grins in suits in rose ceremonies, for the most part.

this morning on KiisFM they had Sam Frost pulling the bachelors' names from hat and giving brief description of the guys
she seemed to be giving little away but when it came to Kayne she laughed and then got into a discussion re his terrible rapping and that he thinks he's good but is totally unaware how bad he is

anyway they had a body language expert watching her - she said she gave very little away because was sitting on her hands ... but when she was unfolding the pieces of paper and then what she did with them afterwards or her eye movements when reading the names was what she'd looked at

she thought Kayne will be the winner
