I was going to leave but then I'm A Celeb happened. Then I was going to leave again, but Masterchef happened. And then I fully intended on leaving, but I got caught up with Bach and Bachette

What was the point in rehashing that? It's history. She of all people admitted that was stupid.

Apparently a girl in her mid-20s making up a relationship is horrible and not to be forgiven, but a dude in his mid-20s calling women dime store hookers are fine, because he was only in his mid-20s when he he displayed his sexist attitudes. ;)

One person's actions was 9 MONTHS ago, whereas the other persons were 9 YEARS ago. Both are pathetic, but one is actions a decade ago. So Sam can change in 9 months but no way can Michael change in 9 YEARS! It's not about age at all, everyone matures differently.

And anyone who ever makes up a relationship really needs a psychiatrist. Period.

When that old interview of Michael's was posted I think a few people were giving him a free pass because he was "only in his 20s and people say or do stupid things when they're young".

Making up a relationship is a silly thing to do, but for me it is not something that is likely to be repeated over and over (and if it is, I agree one should seek help), while I would say sexist attitudes tend to be more insidious. And perhaps I have been lucky, but the guys I associate myself with have always been really respectful about women. I find that attitudes like that generally seem to be quite ingrained and don't change easily.

Also, I have a source who knows someone who went on a date with Michael just last year, and apparently the verdict was that he was sleazy. You don't have to believe that, of course, and even I will take that with a grain of salt, but I have to say I'm not surprised either if it's true. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree about the rest of the stuff.

I have several friends who have met Michael and have said he is a great guy. I live in Brisbane and they live in Brisbane and Michael lives in Brisbane. If I recall correctly, I don't think anyone was giving Michael a free pass because he was in his 20's - everyone who was giving him a what you call a "free pass" was saying it was almost a decade ago.

Well I must be stupid listening to people who met him directly and have photos with him in the last few weeks. I should judge him based on your source and an article from 9 years ago.

She doesn't even have a pen. A penis - yes. Not a penis I want to see personally. A pen - no. Unless Bic wants to give her some freebies of course.

I was just going off your last comment about people making up a relationship in that if they thought that then they probably have a great imagination and should start writing stories instead of fantasizing about relationships that were never there in the first place.

They apply to be the next Bachelorette as it turns out. And I agree

Hey, it's up to you. It's all good. Sam is happy. Seems like she's more over her past than you are, at this stage. :)

Hmm can anyone show me where the 'Bazinga' button is?
Heard a rumour the mods were following FB's example and giving us some more options than just like ...

;):angelic:

I wonder if Richie will do the Bachelor. He's so popular that like Heather, he may be snapped up very quickly!
