The Bachelorette 2017

...Sophie... what the fug are you doing?... she's keeping Sam/Jarrod and Ryan... what the hell is wrong with the girl!... **shattered**... cheers.

Not her choice Mr Sticky. The producers would have a wishlist of which ones to keep in as villains. The three who went were probably perfectly decent guys, but weren't given any screentime at all, they were obvious cannon fodder. Expect"Bingham" and "Mack(ane)" to join them soon.

Oh, Sticky, you still haven't worked out how this show works!

...hahaha!... as both you and Melore have obviously realised... I'm still a rookie when it comes to these Bach shows... lol!... being a newbie to the shows is still so much fun though... ignorance is bliss as they say after all lol!... cheers.

I know we should stop being sucked in by the ads, but the "you're dead boy" directed towards Sam from Sophie's dad was another misleading lie.

...exactly Meglos... things like that really do piss me off... we expect those type of misleading direct lies from Channels 9 and 7 but not Channel 10... (well I don't anyway) and for them to lower themselves down to that level really is so sad... it's not as if Sophie's show isn't rating well is it?... hers is the highest rating of all time in the Bach series afterall... I just so hate them lowering their standards like that... I really do... cheers.

Some great tweets to sum up tonights episode... my fav? this pic

So funny when Sophie mouths "FUCK" after Ryan says he doesn't want someone with a potty mouth. :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Lololol I also love the crazy stare she does a couple seconds after he said that. It's the same "are you for real, bro?" stare I do to my boyfriend when he jokingly says something ridiculous or makes a ridiculous request! I can relate to her so much!

P.S. I should clarify that when I do that I make sure he sees it and we laugh about it together, we do have a healthy relationship. I think. :p

editing strikes again - never believe the promos folks! I was so looking forward to Sophie's dad tearing Sam a new one

I think they're only keeping Sam to annoy Jarrod and set him off

Jarrod is totally over playing it to the point of stage 5 clinger/stalkery person - he DID say early on that he falls hard and he falls fast - but what show did he THINK he was coming on if he thinks he should be the only one to actually go on a date!?!

Did Ryan have a personality makeover between this ep and the last? where's the antagonistic prickiness gone? instead we get the back story and violins are out for him ... feel for him ... relate to him ... he's just a guy, standing in front of a girl ... wanting her to

oh yeah
1. look after herself & present well
2. not swear

LOVED Sophie's reaction and thought this obvious clash of his perceptions and her reality (which still surprises me) meant he would be seeing the exit signs ... but noooooo

The date with Luke was refreshing - she really doesn't care about making an idiot of herself, she really IS awks when it comes to the flirting/dating stuff, she really didn't care about getting nearly drowned - WTF WERE THOSE THINGS!?! they were tipping her forward and submerging her head first ffs - looked like a real recipe for a drowning!! Great present for that friend you don't actually like very much ;)

It was hilarious seeing just how very awkward she is - I liked Luke from this date - he's moved up as my number 1 ... I liked Jarrod but now - hell no! whether he's getting the "desparate edit" or not - he's coming across way TOO EVERYTHING right now ... needs to back off - the intruders are totally going to set him off I think!

Sam - GO AWAY! just truly GOOOO AWAYYYYYY! He would have been so difficult to live with - I can totally see Jarrod taking him outside late at night for a walk and coming back to the manion - alone! Just what the mansion needs - a new flower bed full of daisies :)

If this billionHEIR/intruder the Daily Fail are predicting wins actually DOES win I think I'll be pissed - and probably shouldn't be. Regardless of whether he's got money or not I don't actually see Sophie choosing him solely on that - she's actually won me over to believing she's a down to earth person who doesn't actually go for all the hype and hoopla of celebrity. And I think I'm trusting her instincts on this guy - she'll see through any bullshit. Think she's put too much on the line to do this to waste it.

Peter, Eden, Jefferson - no surprises there. Pete came off as wanting her as his teeshirt model for his business (cynical me!), Eden (well how DO you recover from that entrance ffs!!) and Jefferson ... think he was just too much of a softy for Sophie - and probably not that invested in it (snoozing on the first night - WTF!! whether it was filmed over two long days/nights or not - get a grip!! show a bit of interest!! what DID you turn up for?!?! a holiday??)

I really thought this series was going to be a dead loss but Sophie really has surprised me. Hoping that the other 3 intruders show a bit of promise :)

btw if you believe anything the Daily Fail prints ..

Luke dated Laura (Matty J's "the one") for a few months and apparently neither one had any idea about them going on the Bachelor/Bachelorette but are "still good mates"

Luke recently appeared in an ad for aeroplane jelly

he has a website encouraging companies to incorporate meditation etc in their daily work practices ... and posts bizarre airey fairy instagram messages (quoting himself)

soooooooo role on the intruders I say!!! :D

oh and good on Sophie for telling Sam WHY she hasn't been in that much of a rush to date him

and I call BS for his "excuses" for going on about her cans - he's quite simply a jerk - and I'd be over the moon to see him be tossed to the kerb never having been invited on a single date :)

...I just love this post... you've basically expressed all that I feel about the show too crimmy... especially when you said "she's actually won me over to believing she's a down to earth person who doesn't actually go for all the hype and hoopla of celebrity"... I couldn't agree more... I really have grown to love Sophie's 'say-it-as-it-is' down to earth attitude to life and the way that she admits to having a 'potty mouth' etc... everything about her is so natural and easy to associate with... no wonder this series of The Bach franchise is the highest rating one ever... (and wouldn't that be pissing off Matty's massive ego?)... ;):biggrin:... lol!...

...I really do hope that the Producers get 'normal down to earth' people to be the Bacherlor or Bachelorette in the future too... it sure is a ratings winner as they must be discovering... lets face it... look at the differences between this series and Matty's season that just happened...

(1)... Matty was always concerned about the camera angles and lighting to make him look so 'handsome' all the time...
...............Sophie doesn't give a fig... she is more interested in finding love......................

(2)... Matty always want's to be seen as a thorough 'gentleman' at all times without having any faults or blemishes...
..............Sophie is showing her real self warts and all... she even makes fun of her faults..................

(3)... Matty just follows instructions from the Producers in his earpiece... where to look... what to say etc...
.............Sophie just freely does what she wants... she just 'wings it' and 'ad libs' etc most of the time.................

(4)... Matty doesn't say a word naturally... he speaks picture perfect with every single word that he utters as if reading a script...
.............Sophie has verbal diarrhea lol!... she just says whatever she thinks and feels like saying naturally!.................

(5)... Matty acts every scene that he is in (very badly by the way) as if he is in a movie like 'Gone With The Wind' for instance...
.............Sophie just 'bogan's out' and just enjoys the moment... she revels in the unexpected..................

(6)... Matty is so 'wooden' and 'stilted' in his movements... he has an awkwardness in his body language...
............Sophie is graceful and free flowing in her body movements... she is free... she has a 'presence' about her.................

(7)... Matty has no actual personality... he is a mere 'image' of what he thinks that we want to see in him...
............Sophie oozes her personality through her honesty/self deprecation and general lack of flaunting her sexiness for gain.............

(8)... Matty's attitude was that he felt so 'entitled' during the length of his whole season...
.............Sophie is 'grateful' for whatever is presented to her... even dipshits like Ryan and Luke................

...anyhow... I've only mentioned a few reasons for the differences that irk me to keep the post short and the way that I see it is that in the future the Producers really do need to stop looking for just 'pretty boys' and just 'pretty girls' and focus on more 'normal people' with an actual 'personality' for a change... as with this season with Sophie they will have ratings bonanza's a lot more often... but that's just my opinion of course lol!...

...I'll be totally honest with you and I'm sure that I've mentioned this before but after Matty's season I wasn't going to watch The Bachelorette because of my disappointment with my first season with Matty but when I saw the Ads that Sophie was making I decided to give The Bach another go... it was purely from Sophie's comedic Ads that got me to watch it... and thank god that I did because I was so disillusioned with my first season... for that Sophie I thank you... cheers.

one thing that can be said about Matty J and Laura - since the end of their show they haven't been posting a lot to social media
the few instances have been Laura catching up with other contestants
otherwise its just been the Daily Fail following them around the local haunt - they're easy pickings (as was Tim Dormer) living in that area

so whilst they get labelled famewhores its the likes of Elora who is posting daily
