The Bachelorette 2017

I'm immediately suspicious of the multi-millionaire. Sophie needs someone more normal.
i think the Daily Fail are just calling him the winner because he's easy pickings for them - they have lots of info on him, lots of photos, can keep dropping the "million-heir" thing ... he's happy to feed them more because he's loving being in the limelight - he's chased it before and is chasing it again
I smell a rat with him big time and I think Sophie would too. If he was flashing the boat and trying to rescue her last year and she stood him up to me that spells not interested. If she went for him it would go totally against "normal aussie bloke" etc etc that she said she was hoping to meet

so far only AJ and James and Mackay appear "normal" (if we discount that song as a first night nerves stuff up)

Luke's going to have to work hard at winning my vote back ...

so tell me - do you think he's really in this to find love?

I guess when you already rich, the next obvious thing is to become famous no matter how. I honestly don't understand the average Joe's desire to become famous when you have no talent to justify it. It's just fucking weird, and indicative of some mental issue imo.

You'd NEVER get me on reality TV, but it's fascinating how many people apply for these shitshows. I mean, look at tonights episode, grown men dressed as schoolboys......smh.

He seemed really nice and very normal on the Homeless show.
Sydney seems to have created a weird rich and famous socialite set, with RTV paupers clinging to them/interchangeable swapsies
Sophie pretends/or even thinks she does want the 'normal' guy, doubt she could settle with a tradie in the burbs.
She is dumping all the normals, it seemed without even a look, ie first ep

He did, didn't he - but he also tried to scam his way out of the required street sleeping aspect at one point. He's just a bloke from a stinkingly wealthy family, which is quite a difficult position to be in psychologically. Most of the rich boys I knew are dead from overdoses now.

I wouldn't go that far. If they'd cast the show with age and height appropriate men and she was dumping the less glamorous folk first off, then you'd have a point. But the ones she dumped first ep were not especially normal! Chad the teeny tiny manager, and Jamie the yoga loving engineer with the ringlets, were not tradies or particularly normal blokes. The ones she kept weren't all that normal, either! You've got to weed them out somehow. I heard her say in one interview that she could have let 10 go the first night.

i just get a vibe of the ex is trying out for RHOS so needs an interesting storyline ... her super wealthy ex still wanting to reconcile, then going on The Bachelorette would certainly give her some drama ... the two of them are attention seekers
I will be extremely disappointed if Sophies wound up with him because hes exactky what she said she didnt want

I think Sophie is the consummate RTV girl.....she will do what producers want for ratings.
And i think she agreed on this format, a whole bunch of toyboys and tossers first up for our viewing laughs, with a smattering of actual contenders, ie James and a couple.
And she was guaranteed better intruders, actual men not boys or weirdos.

And all that is fair enough, the viewers are used to the format being like the first week. But Sophie is a different prospect, older, famous, etc.....so it is a bit different .....or do they always bring in better intruders and 4 of them???
I haven't seen how they do it usually.

I think there are normally 2 intruders? They probably needed more for Sophie because they chose so many duds first up. Also I wonder if the producers knew how Jarrod would turn out?

...evenin' all... who else thinks that Jarrod will actually hurt somebody physically tonight like he did last night?... I do... nut job alert peoples!... cheers.
