The Bachelor Australia 2016

This is the most unromantic series of The Bachelor ever. There is no romance, no suspense. God bless Richie but he seems to have had all the life bleached out of him. I can't imagine who he'll end up with, or who he even really likes. (It's probably grandma Nikki, at a guess. Or maybe it's Alex. But I just don't care.)

Normally I am really warm towards some of the women and intensely hoping for them, and so on - but aside from Olena I don't give two figs, and she's fairly unlikely to go a great deal further... And normally the women are the most interesting thing about the show.

So disappointment.

I'm 100% with you on everything you have said. It's been dull bar some Keira drama.

I haven't warmed to any of them, and it took me much longer than usual to even know their names.

Apart from Keira it's been a pleasant, but dull season.

I'm pleased Olena stayed because I like her but I don't know if she'll last past next week.
I feel Richie's looking for someone exactly like him - not everyone has to have the same tastes in order to have a lasting relationship. You can still experience things together and sometimes it's good to have different interests especially as going through life you experience new and different things together and grow and change in a relationship.
It feels like Richie's looking for a friend with benefits for 'right now' rather than a life partner.
At least to me.
To me he seems a bit immature.
At this point it honestly looks like Rachael would be the best fit for him in that way.
I don't know about Nikki - she doesn't come across as 100% authentic to me still. Every sentence ends like it's asking a question and sounds rehearsed and stilted. Specially when she was saying that right from the beginning she wanted Richie to meet her family, before she even knew him. I know she's nice and everything but I can't warm to her.

The best part of the show last night was watching the deer in the headlights look on Richie's face during the home visits montage at the end of the show lol.

Such a strange season! I feel like everyone has the same vibe, like they're watching it but not really into it. Last year www my first bachie ever and I did not like Sam Wood and I still feel like Snezana is dodgy AF but that season was genuinely entertaining and intriguing to me. Just a year later and it's very meh. I guess casting is key for both the bachelor and his harem.

I found bachelorette rather subpar last year but no doubt this year it will be an improvement, Georgia Love seems nice and she's beautiful and already her small promo shows more life than Richie amd she is a gazillions times more articulate and natural than he is. I guess her broadcast journalism career helps, but lesbihonest, it's not exactly hard to surpass Richie.

Oh but yes back to Bachelor, well I guess Nikki will win but I can't say I care much or feel invested in them as a couple. Umm, we'll see I guess.

So have we had a story about Alex, and the ex?
If she is 24, kid is 5, so she conceived sometime when she was 18.
Teenage pregnancy seems a lot of baggage to take on.
Who is Dad?

She told the story on one of the very early episodes, but I can't recall the details except the kid's dad is in his life and they get on. Share the parenting? Something like that.
