Just caught up here. Glad to see Keira go for Richie's sake, but the show becomes less interesting without her.

There are still some other spoiled brats there. Alex and Rachael aren't doing themselves any favours.

Btw, who is Faith? Don't recall ever seeing her before. (I'm kidding, but not by much)
 
Keira was pretty good on Have You Been Paying Attention.
She not only cracked a smile, but LOL'ed when the answer to the question "Where did Richie take Rachael?" was "from behind".

He comes across as a dumb arse with no discernible personality, and he's so pasty and not very attractive at all - and he is basically a labourer isn't he?

Richie's job is similar to that of a skilled handyman, except that he has to do it while suspended in the air by ropes.

Skilled labourer maybe? So no actual career other than mining - and that is about to die.
And hell they need a hairdresser, how anyone could leave the house with the shit hair they ALL have, no idea

Maybe I'm a cynic because I'm also totally suss on Sam and Snez as a couple, something seems weird there too, but Sam at least seemed natural on camera and wasn't so awkward and as a viewer I at least felt like I got his vibe a bit. Richie is better looking though.

Jeez I don't like speaking about realty tv randos like this! I just can't help it with Richie.

Very much so! It feels like every second is scripted, which is not impossible I guess, but he can rule out acting or tv presenting any time in his future. The others came across as more authentic.

His personality is not overwhelming at all is it. I couldn't tell you much about him beyond being awkward AF. His career is fine to me, they ditched the "rich" bachelor concept years ago but I suspect he makes a decent wage. He just seems a bit bland and seriously something seems off. I'm sure he is lovely and would treat a woman well and all that, but yes... something is just NQR and I don't know what!!
 
No need to be rich - but he is no catch if there is nothing there. IE I mean, you need a secure life to get married and have kids, one of you needs qualifications for some kind of job security.
And lacking any kind of proper career ambition/path/training/...kind of indicates a lack of maturity and common sense. I mean when the mining closes/winds down, he is cactus.

I think Richie has a problem mixing with girls, he is one of those matey blokes, who is crap at relationships. I watched the last bit of Bachelorette, he took Sam on one of the last dates with a bunch of his mates.

What is NQR @jessy_girl ....I think he is rather dumb, sweet and simple, and probably finds most women a bit of a challenge.
I probably shouldn't comment here as I don't watch much and don't really like this show or concept...
 
I think channel 10 have beaten the "interesting" out of Ritchie. He was more lively on the Bachelorette with his break dancing dressed up as an old man and his "cool bananas". Apparently they sent him to a speech therapist before the show. He definitely sounds stilted when he is doing the voice overs.

Also the dates apparently take over 8 hours to shoot so the conversation surely gets beyond "what are you looking for in a partner" , "can I kiss you" and "that was a nice kiss"
 
Unscripted cool bananas Richie would be infinitely more interesting than what we are getting. The dates and conversations, especially with the genuine contenders, are BORING. Either snoozeville, or secondhandedly embarrassing. The old peoples home was one of the best dates ever and was perfect for Richie. Sitting on a swing or couch or blanket or boat are just not conducive to him being interesting. I wish the producers had thought more outside the square for Richie's dates. Personally, I also HATE the group dates where the girls have to wear stupid humiliating costumes and play "sports".
 
I do not understand the HAIR.
All of them have tortured hideous hair.
I could not leave the house like that let alone appear on TV.

There isn't even 1 with nice shiny healthy hair, what the hell, why???

Anyone that has hair as shitty and ratty as that - cut it off, it grows you know.
You can have actual nice hair if you cut off the crap, start again ( however I suspect they all have bald patches from overprocessing)
The dateless girl has almost normal hair
