The Bachelor 2 (2014)

I wonder if something suss is going on. Last year bachelor they had the two final girls doing promo, and then there was an after show special with all of the girls and The bachelor (Tim). This year.. Where is all that?
 
I hope they last. I'm a bit hesitant to say I think they will for a few reasons. Firstly because of the distance and secondly because I don't know if Sam is at the same place as him at the moment but I guess we'll see. I didn't think Tim and Anna were going to last and they're still going strong :)

I wonder what happened for the media/interview bans? Someone on tonight's BB episode thread said that there's a rumour going around that one of the Bachelorette's got knocked up 😱
There was also all the controversy around Blake apparently breaking up with his GF of 18 months for the show but I'm sure that's all blown over now.

I'm hoping Sam posts something on Instagram soon :)
 
Read in another thread that there is a rumour one of the contestants is pregnant? And that is why everything was shut down?

  • The final scene of The Bachelor Australia saw Blake Garvey get on one knee as he proposed to Sam Frost, a finance consultant.

    But the conclusion to the popular show was shot over six weeks ago - and many suspect that the match made in reality television has already gone awry.

    The cause of it all is Ten's media blackout - all interviews with Blake and the winning bachelorette have been called off - and even the network's own Sarah Harris took to social media to express her suspicions on the matter.

    The 25-year-old blonde was chosen over fashion designer Lisa Hyde, who was left devastated by the handsome hunk's decision.

    On the flipside, Sam was overwhelmed with emotion when she discovered she had won the affections of the smooth-talking real estate agent and excitedly agreed to be his bride after their final date in South Africa.

    Many on social media weren't buying the show's fairy tale ending however.

    One person reasoned 'finale was shot months ago, they are probably broken up already,' while another Tweeted 'my theory is that Blake and Lisa are a couple.'

    'Are these two knuckle heads together or what?? We demand answers!!,' one particularly passionate fan Tweeted.

    Meanwhile, last year's Bachelor Tim Robards appears very much in love with his season's winner, Anna Heinrich.

    This week the two playfully bickered to PopSugar over the true date of their anniversary, with Anna arguing that their relationship began on September 14 after Tim picked her in the inaugural season's finale.

    But the hunky chiropractor chimed in, 'we actually started dating three months before that. We started dating on the show.'

    Anna to hit back, exclaiming 'he thinks we started dating when he was dating 24 other girls, and I say “no”.

There was an article on the KIIS FM website but it's unavailable at the moment. Other outlets are reporting the same thing with 'sources'.
 
Sams Twitter account is hilarious, She indeed loves comedy and funny people a lot. I think her and Blake will last a long time. Her family adore him and that was crucial to her. Though they really need to live closer together, and eventually together. The long distant thing will be ok for a little while, but thats the only thing I can see that will tear them apart.

EDIT: Just saw the post above mine, JUST WOW if its true, hope Sam understands Blake cared for and loved the other girls (they were her close friends too who she thought highly of right??) BUT WAS ONLY IN LOVE WITH HER. Bloody shame if she let this effect her. POOR BLAKE

Ok Ive had a whole hour to dilute things (make and put a veggie lasagna in the oven as well)

My take on it, Sam didn't end it (if indeed they are ended 😳) cause she was jealous on what she saw on tv with Blake and the other girls. All the girls knew Blake was courting/dating the others, and they new openly that Blake was after love, and with 25-30 women there is was only natural for him to "fall" for a few of them. At the end the girls were best friends with each other and knew Blake had feeling for them all (the last 5 of them), he openly admitted that as well. So I rule that out

I reckon it has to be far bigger than that. One rumour doing the rounds is he got one of the Bachelorettes pregnant. If this indeed was the case. Then Kudos to Sam for dropping Blake like a sad sack of spuds. Having intercourse during the show (obviously with no cameras around), that is way different to "falling" for, or kissing the bachelorettes on camera. (Maybe the girl isn't pregnant but told Sam she had sex with Blake during the show, and maybe its one of Sams close friends?)

All should come out in the open soon you would think. We deserve to know the truth 😇
 
Hhmm wonder if they just want to give Woman's Day the only exclusive interview or they have broken up and they want to announce it via that so they can be in control of what's said (rather than live on tv/radio).

I find it telling the first signs we saw of Sam out partying (thanks Tully!) came around the time they supposedly split.
 
Lisa has just confirmed she isn't pregnant on Instagram and has wished Sam and Blake all the best with the next chapter of their life.

Curiously in the same sentence of saying she isn't pregnant she says "I can confirm the rumour" - however I'm pretty sure she has just used bad wording and is not saying she is confirming any of the rumours, just clearing up the rumour regarding her.
 
CONFIRMED - Blake dumped her

THE romance is officially over between the Bachelor and his chosen one, Sam.

Network Ten has just released a statement to the media confirming the pair have called it quits.

“Network Ten can confirm that Blake and Sam have sadly ended their engagement. When Blake proposed to Sam in South Africa, he did so because he had genuinely fallen in love with her. He was excited to start a life with Sam and was very much looking forward to their future together”, the statement reads.

“Unfortunately, not all relationships are meant to be, and feelings invariably change. Once Blake returned to his everyday life, he realised that they both wanted different things from a relationship and had different priorities. Blake has the greatest love and respect for Sam, but has made the difficult decision to end the relationship.”
