The Bachelor 2 (2014)

And Blake does a great job at reading the scripts provided to him, although he isn't very believable.
He needs to work on showing emotion and personality though, because I haven't seen any from him this entire series.

EXCLUSIVE: She doesn't even live there! She called it 'my home' but The Bachelor's Lisa RENTED lavish waterside mansion and pretended to Blake Garvey it was hers

  • She constantly referred to it as 'my home' and her 'parents' house' but it turns out that Lisa Hyde or her family don't own or live in the lavish waterfront mansion that was shown on The Bachelor Australia last Thursday.

The stunning four-bedroom, four bathroom home, nestled in one of the finest locations in Noosa, Queensland, was shown when Blake Garvey went to meet the final four's families.

Lisa and Blake romantically kayaked up the river to the house and then ran indoors to meet her parents and her sister.

To rent! A spokesperson for Shine Australia, the company that produce the show for Channel Ten, told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday the house was 'rented' because Lisa's home was 'unavailable' on the shoot dates

Out:'Their current family home in Noosa was not able to be used for production purposes,' the statement read

'Welcome to my home, I cant wait for you to meet my parents,' she told him as they walked up the jetty.

And although she said it was hers, it is in fact a rented house that is listed on R&W's Noosa Holidays website for a whopping $1,050 a night.

To add to the 'scandal', contacted Daily Mail Australia and revealed that Blake knew it wasn't her home all along.

'The property was rented on Lisa's parent's behalf.

'Their current family home in Noosa was not able to be used for production purposes,' the statement continued.

In an email to Daily Mail Australia, Lisa added: 'Blake was very much AWARE that is [sic] wasn't our home but due to reality TV purposes (production company) Shine asked us to go along with it.

'Filming took place two months before it was aired and it was impossible to keep it private due to where they live.'

Social media was awash with shock over the revelations that Lisa lived in the mansion and believed the house belonged to her.

'Nerve wracking end to the Bachelor last night - I am thinking Lisa's parents house swung Blakes decision #teamsam #bachelorau #whatahouse,' Craig Grenfell tweeted on Thursday.

'Please marry Lisa just for her parent's house, Blake!' Jaleesa Simpson also wrote on Twitter.

'Marry Lisa and you'll be set for life Blake. Look at that house in Noosa! #ahhhhmazing,' Phoebe Powell commented.

And the stunning house that comes complete with a sun drenched terrace and a 25 metre pool may have swayed the former topless waiter's final decision as in the end it was Jessica who was given the boot.

Sam, Lisa and Louise are the final three in the running to win the man of their dreams.

I totally understand that, but a $1050 a night rental on the water? Surely they could have found something discreet without the bells and whistles and drama this has now caused (ie lying to Australia)

I haven't been watching the show, so hope there wasn't a spoiler in that article about which girl was given the boot?

Quick question: Does anyone know if the girls meet Blake's family???
I remember last year the girls met Tim's family, I loved that ep!
Also I feel like the finale of this season is a bit rushed. Tonight should be 3 dates with 1 elimination. Tomorrow the final 2 meet Blake's family and the then next week, the finale. But meh![DOUBLEPOST=1412150479][/DOUBLEPOST]So many different predictions in this thread! Love it! Makes me think that no matter what, the ending will be a surprise. I umm and ahh between all 3 of them and can't figure it out.

If they are in South Africa, and only 2 shows left, and he proposes in South Africa in tomorrow show, Id assume the 2 remaining girls don't meet his family, well not in Australia. Maybe they are in South Africa, after all I think its just his mum and nonna

I reckon Blake's arsehole is better looking than his face...

Lisa totally has this in the bag! Saw her on couch time today. I'm guessing she won.

Louise is seriously amazing.
I REALLY admire her. What an incredible woman.

I do feel her connection with Blake was probably the weakest so in terms of chemistry and romance (which is essentially what this is all about!) Blake made the right decision. He's obviously just following his heart.

This ep totally melted me...

Wow, wasn't expecting that. I've really been thinking that Louise was going to win the past few days, including during tonight's episode. If Blake doesn't want her i'll marry her lol.

I really don't know who he'll choose now. My gut is still saying Sam (I've thought for most of the series until last week she had it wrapped up) but I've been so wrong on this lately it will probably be Lisa lol.

Jess was such a fake, acting all purile and proper. She was super annoying to watch, not to mention hearing her whimsically narrate her undying passionate love for Blake as if she was the star of her own romance novel was impossible to endure. And that same doe-eyed expression she wore every time she was onscreen was painfully embarrassing. Good riddance, wench!

What is this about a rumoured hooker?

It came up in the comments section on one of the Bach eps on Reality Ravings a week or two ago. Sorry, can't remember which one. It was about one of the final four or five being an escort and the guess was it was Lisa, nothing more than that. Lisa was also featured at some point as having dumped her boyfriend to go on the show. Who knows what is truth.

So disappointed Louise left. Can't stand either potential fiancee - ye gods. Thank god for the proper American version starting FINALLY on Go! this Thursday. I think. After Survivor. Who knows. Maybe it's a misprint. They have run promos for that mofucka since Desiree's season's last few weeks.

Every online guide still says Date Movie, not The Bachelor Dirtbag Edition. Maybe next Thursday. But it's coming soon! Coming soon, so they keep saying. My bet for tonight is Sam (ugh) so it'll probably be Lisa (ugh). I hope whoever gets to keep the $58K ring, and a tape of the montage of multi-date pashes they showed on Reality Check to commemorate their true undying love.

I'm hoping they bring Louise back as The Bachelorette. It's about time for that now isn't it surely!

Bachelor 3 has been confirmed for 2015. Id bank they will do a Bachelorette after that wether next year or 2016.

I think Louise will be fine and will have lots of nice men after her, so maybe she wont be single by the time Bachelorette 1 come around.

Just on Louise, Did anyone else think Louise looked like a little old lady going into the pool to greet Blake last night? Her hair was shaped like a bowl (to keep the water away no doubt), but made her face look older, not as soft or pretty. Her one piece swimsuit looked like something out of the 1950s. AND boots over jeans for a picnic date? Looked like she was competing in a equestrian dessage O_O . At lesast we haven't seen the fire engine red lipstick for a while
