The Bachelor 2 (2014)

If they do a Bachelorette version who do we think they will pick out of this years ladies?

Many would probably pick Laurina, it be train wreck viewing every week. But it be interesting to see what type of blokes would want to be with her ?A 80 year old millionaire with "yes dear" as his only vocabulary comes to mind

Id have to go with the runner up this year (last years runner up was a bit of a fruitcake, forget her name). You just know its gonna be heart wrenching, might as well give the girl 25 single blokes to chase after her, its the least they could do
I actually thought Chantal would make a good bachelorette when she left, but please no Laurina she might crack her face if she had to smile too much.

I have a spoiler on FB, the remaining two are.. does anyone wanna know. and I heard they are not together anymore. If its true, I dont know..

Ladies please, Laurina is fabulous

In all seriousness though I think Louise would make a great Bachelorette. Very wifeable.

PM me the spoiler hon? :)

From what I've heard Blake and the winner aren't even allowed to see one another yet so people don't find out his decision before the show finishes airing.

You can PM me the runner up :) , I don't want to know who the chosen one is yet

Yeah be a bit weird if the couple are not together cause of what Gemini said, though they are allowed to talk over the phone , but just not be together in puplic. If they indeed aren't together something damming must have come down to force one of them to end it, have no idea nor would I speculate what it possibly could be (unless Blake was born a woman and off to Thailand next month for the "big" surgery down there to make his transformation complete) O_O

Yes agree, Chantal would be a great Bachelorette

I read a blurb somewhere not long ago, just before Amber got "evicted", that Tim (1st season Bachelor) said he thought Amber was the one he'd like the most if he was In there. The mind boggles

I'm trying my hardest not to open the link!
For those who do, please don't post the names here.

If they made a Bachelorette I think Louise, if she isn't the last girl chosen, would be the best for it

re: PM - I only have the last two girls standing. so I will just say one or the other or just one? haha

So I broke my own rule and read the above article..

I personally don't think that's a spoiler at all? She never said she's not with Blake anymore, she just said she's not on the show. None of the girls are on the show anymore, filming is over.
And if her at an airport saying that means he didn't choose her then he obviously didn't choose Louise since that's who she's talking too.

I really doubt this article credibility.

ok I read the link, my source was way off I guess. (sorry Gemini). I guess Im also shocked I thought this chick would be top 2

ok not to worry

Ill see if I can pick the two after the home dates O_O

To kltaylor - maybe might be an idea to edit out the ladies' name you mentioned from the article (just in case it is true), just for people who don't want to know , even though like we both suspect it may be a hoax.

I saw an interview just yesterday and Blake was saying its hard not to be around the person he chose and not be able to with them openly - so until the finale night of the show we're only going to see rumours flying

if there are no pics there is no story

one thing - I didn't watch the first series - was Tim telling EVERY one of the girls that they had a deep and special connection? Its getting to me so much that Blake does that - I'm even starting to think he deserves to end up with Jess who talks like she's narrating a Mills & Boon love story whenever she's with him ... and trying to do a soft porn soundtrack at the same time ... I'm thinking he's finally seeing that in her and that there is nothing else underneath all that fakeness ...

I really like Sam and Louise but of the two I'm really hoping Sam wins out.

I cant wait for the meet the family segments. This also determines how stable these girls are! And usually seals the deal. I wonder how Blackey will get on with the future dad in laws as he grew up only with his mum??

Pretty sure he was. I think it's part of the the Bachelor script to be honest. In every series (Aus and US) I've watched they've all said it tediously. I think a lot of what the Bachelors say during scenes are scripted. I somewhat know Tim from series 1 in real life (I grew up on the same street as his parents and I used to play with his younger siblings) and that's certainly not the way he talks.

Yeah lot of it would be "scripted". But at the same time if he was emotionless or not giving any of the girls anything throughout, then the show wouldn't survive past week 4, There would be more not accepting a rose than accepting, cause no one would be feeling that "feeling" or "connection" being returned.

In real life I think you need to show someone you like them at some early point otherwise they will move on, I know I would If I liked someone, let them know, and got zilch back. And after knowing them for a bit I can work out if she is for me, or maybe not.

And its possible to create feelings for multiple people. Remember the Bachelor isn't normal dating one on one style. I could easily fall for Lisa, Sam, Louise and a couple of earlier ones who were let go (not Laurina nor Amber, lol) at the same time in that scenario. And I think Blake has genuinely given a lot of the other ladies a genuine opportunity for them to like him and for him to fall for them, and after knowing them a little by little he is able to iron out who he doesn't want, ruthless sure, but 25 doesn't go into 1. I think Tim was ok too In season 1.

Absolutely, great post. Even though on a logical level we may know that a lot of what the Bachelors say is scripted it's still needed IMO. If they simply said it how it is ("look we have good chemistry and you're hot but I'm also dating 12 other women so I'm not too emotionally invested with you") I doubt too many people would tune in, much less actually support the Bachelor to find love. It's why they need to find a likeable guy for the role - not just to the women but the audience too. The whole concept is very wrong in reality, but they get away with it when the Bachelors seem genuinely likeable and like they care about the girls like Blake and Tim.
