Tahan FTW

There was alot of ewwwwwwwwwwwwwws David's gross kinda tweets and FB posts. It was after the treat video for her. May not be significant but it was interesting.

No it wasn't, but I don't see now this should affect tahan. That's all.

I think so e people get carried away with social media, rather than just focus on the show and the hm's in it. It kind of gets obsessive to me and the hm's are being judged by what happens out of the house. Makes. Mo sense to me at all. Much preferred the old bb days where only a hm was judged

I don't think it should affect Tahan either. As good as he has been with drumming up support for her, I'm not gonna lie, from what I've read of his posts, she can do a lot better.

And yes, people certainly do get carried away with social media, and it seems to turn things into a fight between the fans rather than anything that's happening on the show.

When he called her a cane toad I thought it was cos she's a Queenslander?

I thought exactly the same thing, and couldn't understand all the fuss it generated. Melbournians get called Mexicans and those from Queensland are Cane Toads, nothing derogatory, just a simple nickname.

Nah, she's from NSW. That wasn't very classy of him. Nor do I think him classifying Tahan as his root is very classy either, but that's on him, not Tahan.

Tahan seems to love him and if he makes her happy who cares what he looks like.

I hope they all enjoy their last day together there today, and I'd still like a Jade and Tahan in the top 3!

I'll leave now before I'm chased out of here :p

david mistakenly thought she was from Queensland though, as he stated on his twitter account later. There was no malice intended in calling her a cane toad. In regards to those on twitter not liking his looks or not thinking he is up to tahan's standards, i an rather flummoxed by that. He is a successful race car driver who loves and supports his girlfriend, but just because he doesn't fit a silly persons ideal aesthetic he is somehow lacking is absurd.

Oh okay. I didn't see his later tweet. That makes more sense. Still though, from things he's posted I think Tahan can do better. I'm certainly not a crazed Tahan fangirl who thinks she's too hot for him or whatever, but more the way he's come across on Twitter (i.e. referring to himself repeatedly as "the guy who sleeps with Tahan from Big Brother"). I don't know him though and maybe he's a great dude away from Twitter.

And Heidi was originally from Perth but has been in Newcastle for like a year working on radio. From what I've heard though she's apparently gone back to Perth to work which I'm happy about because I was sick of hearing her voice on my drive to work each morning.
 
Nah, I do agree with David , Mikkayla was a Cane Toad in the house, not physically but character wise, gobbles anything in sight. Blame it being holed up in the house. They look a pretty happy bunch on the out judging by the photo. Hope there are no hard feelings.
 
Am glad that Tahan's boyfriend looks ordinary and not a jock. She is in love with his cuteness and intellect. Judging from his twitter he adores her. Looks help but they are not everything. Have seen ugly men with gorgeous women and vice versa. Have a good looking guy friend who used to date gorgeous girls but he ended up with a butt ugly chick( Jade's terminology) and is happily married to her.

I just see the same casual "who cares what you think" attitude that tahan has. I would encourage my other half to refer to himself that way if I was being lusted after too. It's all in fun, some people might find it offensive but I can see tahan having the same attitude towards it as me lol
I love that he's not some gorgeous hunk, just shows that tahan looks below the surface :)

Unlike Jade who "would have to get to know" Ed if he didn't have his looks.
