I am team Kirby. I don't fully agree with her reasoning back in the Peta vote when she decided to join the cuddle crew's split on Kelli and Raymond, just so she could have options. As we now know this has led to the distrust Feras had for her and has never ceased. But Feras and Garrick needed to get over it. She was right at tribal, it was her plan and she wasn't voting to keep Peta, she was just voting to keep options open as she knew where the vote was heading anyway. Garrick and Feras are very much looking at the situation as very black and white just because she didn't simply vote for Peta.
Feras was seemingly winning the war against Kirby until tonight. Kirby obviously did better social work with the original titans and it paid off. Aileen is a very logical and pragmatic player, she is much more smarter than a lot of members of this cast. She must have been so frustrated playing with the chaos that exists within this cast.
It is interesting that on both tribes the swapped majority is self imploding within each other, and there is a rivarly between big players on both sides. We have Mark vs Caroline and Kirby vs Feras. I cannot decide if I can see Caroline losing to mark post merge or pre merge. Either way, I think Mark will inevitably get his revenge on Caroline before she does him. Whilst I get the feeling this Feras and Kirby storyline is not near it's end yet, either one could very likely be the merge boot where the story finally culminates. It's very much 50/50 on who will win the war in the end, but at the moment I have my money on Kirby to do away with him first. I felt that Garrick leaving was the obvious outcome since both Kirby's and Feras' storylines have a feeling of longevity to them I feel.
Valeria is still my winner pick. It could also be Mark. But Valeria seems to be better at blending in the shadows in the early stages. She seems to be getting a very similar edit to Hayley and even in some ways Liz from last year.
But I am enjoying the season so far, every episode has resulted in some crazy scrambles and somewhat 'blindsides'. By the way, Australian Survivor needs to stop overusing this word, many times a player has been 'blindsided' when they knew they were in danger. The only thing I dislike about the season is the lacking of a likeable character who really sticks out amongst all the rest as a rootable figure. There is personality like Luke, or George or even Shonee. But it is still two thirds of the show to go, so I cannot come to a complete conclusion just yet.
