Are you referring to redemption island or champions vs contenders? Because in cvc he was second voted out and the final 3 of that season were all from his tribe.

Redemption Island, his tribe won first two immunities his tribe decided to throw to out Russell and then there whole game went to shit and the other tribe was the Top 6.
