I really enjoyed that episode, it kept me in suspence despite it being a non elimination. I was almost fooled into thinking an Ally blindside was coming until tribal came around. It would have been interesting to see if Laura and Logan would have actually flipped against their coven alliance, the aftermath would have been RIVITING television, but a non elimination was imminent, and at least theres more drama set up for the brains tribe.
I don't think Ally is long for this game, she is way too open with information and was really silly to out the girls' alliance to the brawn tribe. Laura also got her way in the end again, she is still my winner pick. The non elimination twist is meh, voting someone to the other tribe has been done to death now, and Rich has essentially been given immunity, so whats the point of sending him over to brawn? But ofc they can't just redo the sabatour twist three years in a row.
They need to get a bit more creative with these non elimination episodes, I've always said I liked how in S1 episode 8 featured a tribe swap and no tribal, just dynamics of the new tribes being shown, essentially splitting the tribe swap episode into 2 parts with part 1 having no tribal or vote. I would like to see that used again, but I understand the show prefers to have a tribal council every episode. I have liked in the past voting for someone to receive a reward like Ziggy in S2 with the super idol. I just find the sudden announcement of a twist right before a vote kind of ruins the suspence of a potential great blindside, albeit it is better that they tell them before voting rather than just having the people outright voted out getting to stay for no reason like Tara in S2. It may even benefit the show to lower its episode count down to 22 episodes, they could even still keep 24 players and 47 days, but the non eliminations can sometimes really destroy the pacing of the game.
But I don't think much will be broken from this twist, Ally still seems at the bottom of the girls alliance with no true number one and has numbered days. And now that AJ has an idol she'll probably go whether or not she has the numbers with the girls. And I'm sorry to say @Mr Stickyfingers but I think I like Rich on the show
he's somehow likeable with how animated he is!

Frustrating how they always throw in this non-elimination bullshit at a tribal which actually looks like it's shaping up to be interesting. Makes it a completley worthless watch.
…I so agree with this… especially when it’s to save one of their ‘favourites’ like Rich… it was so bloody obvious that he was the one going last night… it sickens me and saddens me that they resort to this low level of manipulation… cheers.
Don't tell them it's a non elimination. After the vote
You are pissed that it was a non elimination, as it was Rich. lol You would have loved it if it was your favourite.
