…ladies and gentlemen… boys and girls… I'd like to proudly announce that… **clears throat**… over all of the years of Big Brother… Survivor… I’m a Celeb and other such shows… ** drum roll**… THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAVE EVER… I REPEAT… EVER PICKED SOMEONE AT THE BEGINNING OF EPISODE ONE TO BACK AND THEY’VE ACTUALLY WON IT!… nobody is more shocked than me lol!… what a great win Myles… you truly deserved it… well played my friend… anyhow… thanks for the fun tonight folks… nite all… sleep tight… pleasant dreams… cheers.

That was pretty clearly an ‘M,’ no?
He probably wrote Myles but when JLP pulled it from the urn it said AJ.

The jury seating annoyed me with the back row having to climb into their seat. Zoned out during the jury questioning but they seemed less bitter than their faces suggested

A case for all three to win - wanted a draw myself to see how that would be resolved.

Okay next finale can we have something other than a stand-on-ever-smaller-pegs challenge? How many variants of that did we get this season? As someone with shoddy feet I feel indirectly discriminated against.

I'm glad Myles won though. No one else ever really won me over as someone I'd like to see win.

In a parallel universe I would love to see how AJ and Myles would fight it out as final two. I was hoping Myles would win, but also hoping to see Kaelan surprise everyone with an articulate argument about his strategy, but he didn't really get there, and during the jury questioning you could see by in his face the last shreds of hope fall away. It was so funny seeing him get emotional and hug AJ after cutting him from the final two and AJ's body language was just screaming "Get off me!" One of the biggest flaws in Kaelan's argument was how he kept saying how predictable/repeatable his game was, the inference being Myles' was chaotic. But actually, he was saying how inflexible and lacking creativity his strategy was compared to Myles, who was constantly thinking on his feet and adjusting his game to suit the circumstances, which is much easier to respect than a rigid style of playing. AJ had a good point too, when saying you're supposed to let go of your shield before the endgame, not take it with you. Poor Kaelan. But yay Myles! I wonder why Kristin was the only jury member who voted for Kaelan? It made me think about her single-minded hatred of Paulie, which I found to be unjustified, and then not voting for Myles...is it coincidence that they're both queer? I hope that wasn't Kristin's motivation.

The annual foot torture is never fun to watch.

IIRC Kristen was a Brawn, so she likely appreciated the challenge prowess. Or he made her lady parts moisten 🤷

Well that was a whole lot of fun. I rate this season quite highly all in all. Very entertaining and great cast. Lots of records broken!

And that final 3 was definitely something of a nail bighter.

I also agree it would be great to see Myles vs AJ pitching to the jury. I just wish we could see that.. I can't believe Jonathan got it wrong that there was a final 3 of the same tribe, that's a bit of a big error haha, thanks for your fact checking on that matter Zcsund!

Myles journey was fantastic, AJ's journey was too. Look, they stuffed up big time in the earlier episodes. I'm also curious how the whole 'jungle rat' thing came about - first we heard it was from that asshole teacher. Was it something they teased one another with that we did not see - I assume that's the case or otherwise that's heaps derogatory. But Myles smiled all through it, he's such a terrific character and he totally deserved the win. Well done Mr Sticky on getting it right for once hahahah.

My rankings for Aus Survivor seasons now look a bit like this - using wikipedias season number which includes Channel 9's which don't fit into my rankings due to being a very different type of Survivor. So here they are:

  1. All Stars (season 7 - David Genat winner)
  2. Brains V Brawn II (Season 12 - Myles Kuah winner)
  3. Brains V Brawn (Season 8 - Hayley Leake)
  4. Heroes V Villains (Season 10 - Liz Parnov)
  5. Champions V Contenders (Season 6 - Shane Gould)
  6. Champions V Contenders II (Season 6 - Pia Miranda)
  7. Titans V Rebels (Season 11 - Feras Basal)
  8. Season 3 (Kristie Bennett)
  9. Blood V Water (Season 9 - Mark Wales)
  10. Season 4 (Jericho Malabonga)

Feras won last year? How soon I forget. Think I quite enjoyed your least favourite though but to be honest most seasons aren't distinguishable enough for me to be able to rank them. The themes never make a difference.

Haha yes same, I had to remind myself lol. I did really enjoy season 4 but I was really disappointed with the winner and that really frustrated me with that season, some great characters but the winner put such a downer on the season for me. Shane Gould winning was also a bit of a disappointment in that season but the cast was really good, and I'm a bit more ok with her winning that one as she wasn't hitch to someone the whole way in. Jericho did little than be Luke's friend.
