Episode 2

Kaelen ingratiating himself with the tribe mates in collecting coconuts is probably a smart play. Provided sustenance = important person.

So glad title music and vids are still with us.

Zen could have tried to put the heat on someone else? He folded pretty quickly and admitted that he flipped. Zen claiming it as a blindside is a bit rich.

Do multimillionaires usually go around saying “I’m a multi millionaire” as much as Kent? Haha Now he’s crying because it’s the one challenge he couldn’t buy. I don’t feel any sympathy for him.

Kent going after Myles. Nah I’m off him. Kent might be a psycho.

3 days in and the brains still have a shamble of a shelter bahahaha.

Indy knows she’s on the bottom of the Coven.

It’s kind of good that it’s now one of each team in the first 2 TC’s.

I got very distracted by a group chat and only half followed the second half of this episode. Indy seemed to have blown her game up though. I will try and rewatch exactly how it all went down.
 
So far I really don’t like Noonan. (Who are the Noonans? I’ve never heard of them! She makes it seem like they’re a household name!) The way she was bawling because Nash finding the idol forced her to play the game. What does she think she’s there for? Also, Nash has the strategy of an excited puppy.

On the other side, Laura and her arrogance thinking everyone should join her coven/alliance is annoying. The loud misogynist guy has to go - I wish Indy hadn’t derailed that plan by playing the worst game of all time. The other women on the Brains team seem okay, especially Karin.

And girls…saunter around camp in your bathers if you like, but for mercy’s sake, wear garments with some coverage when you’re doing challenges…unless you want to still be shaking hot sand out of your nethers six months after the show’s ended!

Didn’t Kaz used to watch it, like last season or so?
I think Febs has been off it and on MAFS for quite some time. Unfortunately she is lost to the devil we know. lol
I really do hope Survivor ratings go well. There is so much competition and dilution in the entertainment space these days with so many on demand offerings that it’s super tough for the free to air channels. It’s kind if sad that , what I consider, the best reality show on TV (right now), has to deal with the dwindling numbers problem.

Exactly! Actually I picked that up just before the challenge, there was brains strat chat but not brawn equivalent. So unbalanced the editing in this show, it was clear as day to us which tribe would go to TC. Remember that for the next time they show strat chat segments - ask yourself was it balanced and fair…. If they fixed that the show would be next level.

Overall I have loved the first two episodes. Great cast, they’re varied, some intelligent, some dumb, some expressive, others so quiet we only heard them say a sentence, good lookers and a good dose of excessive ego. Casting finally got off their arse and got some new talent in, instead of going with the tried and tested returnee nonsense every season! Im sure one of the Producers was proposing getting George in for the season and one of them shut them up and said, let’s give it a while, and *then* George.

Kaz has usually been here for Survivor and was here for I'm a celeb.

The overnights for Survivor AU are only at around 500,000, we'll see a much better result in a week's time for the adjustments. It is a shame that Ten does so poor in comparison to Seven and Nine, Australian Survivor deserves so much more praise. I understand why they put it up against MAFS but I feel like it's really hurt the show in terms of it's ratings potential. It will be very interesting to see if numbers lift when not against MAFS in July. Personally, I prefer Survivor in Q3 rather than in summer with MAFS.

I'm about to watch ep 2 again for my note taking and chart making! I have enjoyed both eps so far, very exciting that the show is back and whats to come!
