The edit for cirie is just a bit cringe so far in my watch up to start of challenge with the deadly thing and her saying she doesn't like anything Australian on a show broadcast in Australia.

They did this challenge recently on the us survivor but the tide didn't go as high as anticipated or something because they had two people survive the tide go all the way in and then start to recede so had to make them both winners. Oops!

I was hoping it was misdirection and they'd swung it to vote off Kirby. Why nobody even tries to vote off Kirby...

its the same as Luke being called a king - he is not at all a figurehead in that tribe. there is some very strong pecking orders in these tribes.

I don't just mean last night. If Sarah hadn't wishywashy aligned with Kirby, we would be watching a very different game. David and likely George would still be in, and it would be a lot more fun to watch, and a lot more interesting strategically. And Kirby would be long gone.

I guess to be fair Kirby saw an opportunity to take out David and went for it. Is it what the fans want to see? Maybe, maybe not, but its a big move to make, especially at the beginning of the game. With George I am just pleased to no longer have his Georgie Smugglers on my screen

I do think now is the time to see more of Luke though. Maybe Luke, can rally Janine, Kass and Tomi to team up against Kirby, Parviti, Shonee, and Cirie with Lisa the swing vote between the two groups.

I'll be late to post as I'll be at Eden's watch party tonight. Hopefully I'll meet some other survivors I haven't yet! Also the launch's consolidated total viewership is 906,000 which is the highest rated launch since Blood vs Water in 2022 and also rated higher than every single episode of Titans v Rebels in 2024.

This is both great for the franchise, and terrible if Ten reads too much into it and we get even more retread seasons.

.... I'm putting a lot of faith in ch 10 lately. That said, I'm ready for worst case scenario. Nothing good lasts forever.

Yeah, no major loss for the episode result. Finally I was good with the episode result so far this season!! Sarah's flip flopping around, claiming she wanted to do a mateship thing, and getting rid of David in that process pissed me off.
