Yeah, having lived in Quebec I can confirm as soon as you get off the island of Montreal the English proficiency plummets.

Kass being from Trois Rivieres means English is most definitely her second tongue.

…thanks for that beardymac… I thought that I may have been right about that…

Honestly, losing Tony is a huge disappointment and a bit of a stain on his legacy.

Without spoiling too much, his three-season run / evolution is likely my favourite multi-season arc in Survivor history.

…it seems like he may have had a great run and may have been quite the legend in his time but he came to this game in believing his own publicity in what such a good player he was… the operative word here is ‘was’… he was sad to watch tonight I’m afraid… thanks again beardymac… cheers.

Truthfully I think he's just not that good at playing from underneath. He actively tried to lower his target in one of his previous returning seasons, and you got the vibe he was doing that here too (hard to say with the shit editing lmao). But there were just no places to hide in a tribe of 6.

I’m not that big on him but I do agree this may have tarnished his legacy. But I anticipated a similar run to his worst performance. He won’t ever do well in survivor again, unless maybe he has people like Boston Rob as a shield?

Same. He had fantastic legacy. Funbled too much tonight and the cards just came crashing down in a bad way.

This particular season is getting my least favorite result happening each episode so far, it’s one of those that I don’t feel particularly warm to the results. While it’s an incredible cast, I just feel like disappointment factor is going to push this down to bottom third of my rankings.

By the way is this broadcasting internationally while we are watching it, anyone know? Or is it still must of an Australian survivor season like always where they have to VPN to see it?

I kind of hate everyone left now, for getting rid of my favourites. But on the upside Luke is still there! I was really looking forward to seeing Tony playing with the Australian tribe.
Yeah that’s a real shame. I haven’t watched the extra / bonus material for tonight yet. Have you watched any of them yet, they have a panel with Nick Idanza and former US era season 40 contestants (cant remember the guys name), and the evictee comes on for a chat. It’s like a behind the scenes show right on set there. Pretty cool.

No, I haven't. Thanks for the headsup. I sort of go into mourning after each tribal (apart from Rob's!), and then mope around until the next episode.

I liked how Parv was kind of 'hold my beer' with JLP tonight, while she got that idol.
