Survivor AU - Redemption

It was so good to have the urn delivery sequence back after so many years. David Genat seemed really in his element, happily riding his bike, striding in like a catwalk model, and then smiling into the camera so nicely at different points. Very enjoyable host!

To me, it's still a bit of a dull cast, with a few highlights smattered in. I am glad Caleb won in the end. Loved the sparkling night harbour backdrop for the reunion. Looking forward to Malaysia!

That pretty much said all I want to say.

A few extra thoughts.

Happy Caleb won out of that bunch. Though, I did start to think that Loz could have won versus Caleb - she is far better at delivering emotions through and she may have touched some chords with the jury. It's very possible she could have done a Kristy Bennett... Caleb made the right move and I'm glad he did - otherwise he would deserve to lose I guess.

Interesting that Mark gave Caleb such a helping hand. And I respect him for that. Jackson is a showman, but let's be honest, he was confused most of the game. He was basically cowering thinking he would be next every vote - he did not have one original thought in his brain (channeling Mr. Sticky here lol, yes you @Mr Stickyfingers ).

So good to have the reunion! Yeah, looking forward to next season. Guess I'll see you folks when Alone Australia is out or the next season of BB. Or Traitors? Hasta luego!

Definitely Traitors Australia. Can't be any worse than this season of Survivor I guess 🤷
 
I didn't think this season was nearly as bad as some here. Had a lot of great moments and it was refreshing to finally see an Aus cast which wasn't dominated strategically by 1 or 2 players like pretty much every season since All Stars. It felt like a real battle between nearly everyone and whilst seasons like that often end up with weaker winners, they make for a pretty compelling journey
