Survivor AU - Redemption

They've been showing Ben from every camera angle, so I dont think he is long for the game anyway. But I agree that keeping Rich over Ben may have kept Mark in the game. I think they just see how dumb Ben is and thought they could outwit him. And they nearly did.

They expected Caleb to be a doormat again because he has been all season for their votes so far. Then they said Caleb, you choose, and then made him change his vote to Ben! I am on team Caleb for this particular episode and move because they were using him as a pawn and he got the power to say Nope. Mark should have known better, and if the returnees (+Keely) were careful and smart as an alliance, they could have played an idol. Too close to the sun.

Keely was hilarious in the reward wanting to cut Cams time short because he is annoying hahahha. There are a lot of non playing players left now, so who will step up next to control the game?
 
Finally caught up on the last episode tonight and wow, that was a lot of fun.

Interesting how much of Ben we are seeing all of a sudden in merge, like a changed person who just had the fire come out. I do feel like if he was a winner, or even potential winner, that his edit from the first half of the game would have shown more of a development arc. If he is in the final 2 or 3, then they have certainly hidden his arc extremely well - that would test the edgic system to its capacity hehe. Though that unbalance is not unheard of I think. But it’s uncommon. @Zcsund1234 probably knows more but he knows the answer to this deliberation too lol.

btw @Mr Stickyfingers arent you missing us?? I do miss your comments and am imagining some things you would be saying about this lot 😝

Does anyone else really think the music is so well done this season, and really enjoy it as much as me? A bit of sweet mary jane and it is next level lol… not sure who is credited with the music but the last 2 or 3 seasons have had incredible sound production.

I’m really liking where things are standing with the alliances and the social dynamic right now, keep it up. They are also pushing big moves so we are getting even the passengers are thinking, well, I better do something and get a resume together,,,

I liked Ben better when he was a background character. His bravado confessionals are doing my head in.

Bloody Simon, if he'd voted Ben as planned we could have had a tied vote and a revote and got him out. Very impressed with Keeley tonight.
 
What a tribal! Keely came to play, unlike most in the newbie alliance who are just relying on their numbers to get through. Shes been strategic from the start. I'd hate to see someone who coasted to get to the end and win it. Keely showing such strong dedication to her side was actually lovely. I dont know where it will put her going forward now though. Maybe Danger. A correct idol play is always fantastic to watch. Im so glad they went through with the bluff. I was sitting here chanting "Do it do it do it!"

Caleb was always right about Jackson being a threat. Jackson knew Brooke was bluffing. Perhaps he will get his move next time. Those Kaputs will go with what ever gets them through another night.

Silly Simon back at it. He didnt need to jump ship on that vote! But now the kaputs know he's not on their side. I wonder if new alliances will form from here. Cam looked pretty devo that Blanche was gone (I need to know what sports bra she was wearing!).

Maybe I scared them off, this is my first Survivor season here and I didnt know Mr sticky fingers did the threads for every night. Sorry if I offended him! Im still new to this forum, its not like others I am on.

Yes its bloody brilliant! I dont know who they get to do the score and matching it to the edit, but its fantastic! Its one of the big things that pulled me into Masterchef too- I hate cooking, but the music brought just as much to the show as the contestants did. They have someone very bright on their team. The music so adds to the experience! (even without the mary jane).
 
I fell for the misdirect! I thought for sure the Jackson show was Brooke going home! What a great play by Jackson - one he can truly claim. Thats going to earn him a bunch of brownie points at the end. Cam is a dopey bastard, I thought he was with them. Now I cant wait to see how this goes when its a 4/4 split. Going to rocks would be bloody good, and its not just Simon jumping ship when he is in the shit again.

The challenge was surprisingly engaging. Davids commentary was great. I watched the entire thing, urging Simons balls to drop. It was entertaining, for something so simple.

Im so eager to see who wins the next immunity! Every episode has left me waiting for the next one :D

Their own whispering nearly brings them undone. And I had wondered if Jackson went for Ben after observing Brooke whispering to Cam. He might have thought they had more numbers than he had. But maybe he just saw it for the move it was and took it. I guess we will find out when he speaks about it at the end!
