Good, fun challenges again. Lyndl almost blew that idol swap, she's lanky and annoying.

I'm actually loving David, he's doing great, looks great, and sounds even better to me. Appears slightly empathetic towards the players too.

Sad to see Eliza go, she was a crack up! Now we need the wrath of Jackson, and which way will he go. Harry might be playing moves ahead, with his vote for Loz, he can tell Jackson he didnt lie to him.
 
Eliza was pretty funny in an awkward way. I'd rather she'd stayed than Loz who is bringing nothing to the table so far.

Jackson is like another Simon, loveable himbo lol. I think he's gonna be a fan favourite

Mark is so so cooked lol. Gonna be fun to see him be the first returnee out.

Just wondering if JLP was cut for budgetry reasons, Ten/Paramount after all are trying to save money, reportedly so anyway. I guess David Genet wouldn't cost them half as much in terms of salary. I think he's fairly ordinary as host, and man, he's so trying to channel JLP in the tribal council parts of the episodes.

They will lose far more in advertising than they've saved in salary. It's now down to 365k viewers - the equivalent episode had 486k viewers last year.

No one can fill JLP's shoes, and I wish he was still there, but I like David, he and George are my two favourite players for their flamboyance and strategy -- I wish they'd gotten a fair chance to play against each other last season. I've noticed David is more personally invested and compassionate than JLP (ironic considering his game play), which is to be expected since he knows the player experience so intimately. It's not that JLP was callous, in fact I loved his nonchalant laugh. The contestants would be totally suffering and he'd just be "He he he" with his hands on his hips. So there's a different dynamic for sure, but David is doing alright. I just wish the host change was under different circumstances, such as JLP moving on to take over from Jeff Probst.

My strongest feelings so far are that Mark totally gives me the ick. I find him so slimy and condescending, thinking he's gathering his ladies around him when really he's chum in the water and they're sharks. I guess I want him to stay a bit longer because we need an irritant to create some friction, but Johnson can go *now* please.
