I could’ve been more vague and said “keep an eye out tomorrow” lollol my original message above was going to ask which time zone but I assumed you were being vague to cover your bases.
Completely irrelevant. It's an Aussie show airing in Australia with no indication it'll air in the US - I think Aussie Survivor was officially available on Paramount+ for about a week before it was pulled before too many viewers could see how inferior the US version was. If it did make it's way to the US it would most likely be streamed rather than put in the CBS schedule anyway, and even if they did air it they wouldn't care about the start date being announced being in US primetime. Press releases don't usually go out at 8/7c in the evening. The reason why it’s 10 am tomorrow, is because it lines up with prime time in the US..

You could have also said nothing. Often the best way to contribute to a forum is to know when to not post at all.I could’ve been more vague and said “keep an eye out tomorrow” lol

Stop…. Just STOP! you do not know these things at all. It’s time to step into reality and let go of this fantasy insider role you deludedly think you have…The reason why it’s 10 am tomorrow, is because it lines up with prime time in the US..
No reasoning or explanation included as per usual. Nothing more than a guess you’re blowing out your ass3 weeks time, I suspect the start date will be

Watch Australian Survivor Season 10 – Prime Video
Australian Survivor contestants will endure all the elements and each other to reach the final epic battle and Tribal Council, where the eliminated Jury will make the decision on who will win the title of Sole survivor and take home $500,000.

CBS and Paramount USA have got enough of its own self inflicted drama with the demise of Stephen Colbert and the late night show. Having to promote this with the drama around JLP would not be great timing for them.
Not posting a link so as to leave politics out of this thread, as most articles refer to Trump If you want to see more I will post a link in the politics thread.

That is also my running theory. If Survivor promos were airing at the time of the announcement then fans would have been way more incentivesed to begin the (heavier) backlash. So instead TEN has kept quiet until what is probably the very last minute, probably twoish weeks. Maybe Masterchef is ending the week ending on the 3rd? Maybe Survivor for the 4th? Or sometime around that, who knows? I am merely guessing.Having to promote this with the drama around JLP would not be great timing for them.

So we looking at two episodes a week for 7 weeks or so then (I think I read 14 episodes but I could be wrong on that?)

It’s 10-11 eps possibly 12 and it’ll be on Sunday-Tuesday so it’ll be a 4 week runSo we looking at two episodes a week for 7 weeks or so then (I think I read 14 episodes but I could be wrong on that?)
They could show it 2 nights a week or stretch it out, but I don’t know what they would fill the gaps in with. Amazing race will start in September it’s usually 12 episodes as well.

The JLP effect will be interesting - really puts you off watching knowing what he's done but on the other hand 10 need to be shown he's not the problem. In their head though every single viewer will be watching it because of David.
Is odd how there was all that noise about JLP when his sacking was first announced and a whole lot of support for him but then nothing - no further confirmation on his replacement or inside scoops on what on earth 10 were thinking, or perhaps stories placed by 10/Banijay to try and discredit JLP.
