Please forgive me for such a superficial post but I wish Layla the beautician or someone would tell Angie that she has globs of glue peeking through her falsies. I'd be embarrassed if it looked like I'd attached false eyelashes with clag glue to my eyelids. Why isn't anyone being kind and telling her?? Eeeeek

Someone should tell the poor girl she looks like Tammy Faye Baker.

If you read my post correctly you'll realize that it's not a catty post. If I had spinach caught in my teeth I'm sure a friend would tell me. I can't help but wonder why no one is being a friend and telling Angie that she looks like she's attached her false eyelashes with copious amounts of clag glue.

Btw my response is aimed at you goroos. ;)

Again, my apologies for the superficialities of the post but really, why isn't anyone being kind enough to tell her? I have some ideas and views as to why perhaps people aren't, what are yours?

I'm sure Layla did individual lash extentions for the girls (except Estelle) the other day when she had her salon al la Layla & by the looks of them both the lashes and the glue are very cheap. Layla may be a beautician, but she doesn't appear to be a very good lash stylist. The glue should be minimal and you can tell by those big clumps on Angies eyes that Layla has used way too much.

I also think their lashes are way too long and dramatic for day to day wear. Lashes that big should be special occasions only IMO.

I think the job layla did on stacey and on zoe is pretty ordinary as well. They look really off.

Yeah I'm not an Angie fan. She seems to me to be incredibly immature and acts like an awful girl still in highschool with her bitchiness. Before anyone attacks me as a person, these are just my views regarding Angie's behaviour. If you'd like to debate my views about Angie's behaviour in an adult manner, I'll be more than happy to respond. (I'm having a mental blank, how do you spell behaviour correctly? My computer tells me I'm spelling it wrongly and it's bugging the shit out of me.)

Having said that, even if I was a housemate who disliked her, I'm pretty sure I'd let her know about the dodgy eyelashes regardless. But yes, politics within the house seems even to affect such innocuous realities as eyelash application. Which is rather funny when you think about it.

These crappy lashes just look like the cheap things you buy and glue on for the night.
They do not look like salon individual extension things.

Lord, look at Zoe's hers don't even connect on the outer edge.

I think they gave Layla cheap shit to work with - and they look like a health hazard

Yeah, I loved it when Ben pointed out how much he dislikes them. They just look awfully tacky.

Oh did he? So someone has pointed it out. I missed that and have been wondering why the hell no one has said anything about them! Shame they haven't taken Ben's advice then.

Must admit by the time Layla had finished with Zoe - the long lashes and the very, very dark eyebrows I thought Zoe was channeling Joan Crawford there for a while. Oh well ......each to their own I suppose. :)

Can't be good for your eyes having all that gunk stuck there, must feel awful.

But my understanding of the real eye lash extensions - they are individual lashes glued onto an actual eyelash and not easily detected, and expensive.
