So now the Season is over, it reminded me of during the Channel 9 era, (and this is possibly a little cringe looking back as well but yeah lol) but I used to do a post using photocollage apps of my couple of SMS votes each week over the season.

Since we only got to cast one vote this year each time, its should be very simple, and, in the end, how successful were your votes at keeping that housemate in? Might be funny to look at.

Oo I like this thread idea!

Here's mine:

VOTE 1 (Jane/Michael/Holly): MICHAEL - I didn't like Michael, but I desperately wanted Holly gone so I voted to save Michael, but it was ineffective. (Michael Evicted)

VOTE 2 (Allana/Mia/Jane): ALLANA - Out of the three, Allana was an early favourite for me, so it was an easy vote for me. Still not sure I agree with a double eviction happening with only three nominees, and then there was the whole phone call eviction disaster. (Jane & Mia Evicted)

VOTE 3 (Vinnie/Bruce/Conor/Holly): CONOR - Again, I wanted Holly gone and figured it was probably out of Conor or Holly, so I voted Conor. Wasn't a huge fan of Conor, either, but he was the lesser of two evils. And it worked this time, thankfully! (Holly evicted)

VOTE 4 (Vinnie/Coco/Emily): EMILY - She was my favourite housemate, so this was a no brainer, and I think I'd finished voting before the noms episode had even ended (Vinnie Evicted)

VOTE 5 (Edward/Conor/Coco/Colin): EDWARD (voted early in the piece and really wanted Colin to go. I figured saving Edward was the best chance to make that happen, but it failed) (Edward & Conor Evicted)

VOTE 6 FINAL (Allana/Bruce/Colin/Emily/Coco): EMILY (Runner up Emily, Winner Coco) < I'm still marking this read because she didn't win, so I don't consider it a success.

Hopefully I've done this right.
 
oh yeah and I saw a lot of people voting for Jane so I chucked Mitch a vote for the latecomer housemate, so theres another one that went the other way Haha

  • EXTRA HM VOTE (Jane/Mitch): Jane
    • I actually thought she was an entertaining one and can offer more than Mitch in general. Also, older people in a young bunch shouldn't hurt anyone right? (boy was I wrong)
  • VOTE 1 (Jane/Michael/Holly): Holly
    • At that point, I want to stir the house with some drama from Holly. Again, I was very wrong and that led to a tiring showmance.....
  • VOTE 2 (Allana/Mia/Jane): Mia
    • I saw her potential to be one of the entertaining ones out there, especially with her being able to "stir the pot" in the house. Bec from Queensland ruined it and will never forgive her for that.
  • VOTE 3 (Vinnie/Bruce/Conor/Holly): Bruce
    • At this point, I just want people who are performative gone, and I think Bruce is the least out of the whole bunch.
  • VOTE 4 (Vinnie/Coco/Emily): Emily
    • Well, I am literally an Emily fan
  • VOTE 5 (Edward/Conor/Coco/Colin): N/A
    • I didn't bother to vote, like those options were very bad that I just don't want to save anyone. Also pretty tuned out after countless showmances moments.
  • VOTE 6 FINAL (Allana/Bruce/Colin/Emily/Coco): Emily
    • I am literally an Emily fan.
Overall, the way that I approach is to keep (hopefully) entertaining ones in first and if one of my favourites is up then I save them instead. I don't know, but I feel that this season's cast just feels too "negative" for me and I felt that after Vote 3 onwards. That's why Emily became my favourite as time goes by.

The one for Bruce I wanted to try and edge either Vinnie or Conor out. I would’ve thrown another one Holly’s way but figured it seemed like she might be out this time and it would have been interesting to see how Colin would do without her in there at the same time.

I did suspect Coco would win based on various FB polls though, so I wasn't particularly surprised, just disappointed, as is often the way with BB finales. Delighted that Colin didn't even make it to F2 though.
