So this was just posted on the Jump-In site...back in 2015?

Guys, I don't mean to burst your bubbles but use your common sense here.

As I mentioned in the other thread, by them posting that pre-registration form it in my way implies or confirms anything about another season.

With a show like Big Brother, they need at least 6-8 months in advance to plan the series, go through the extensive audition process, etc. By them posting that link today, it just gives them a chance to put away a few hundred contact details "just in case".

It's clear that not even the producers know whether they'll be back next year yet, so this just allows the producers to remain one step ahead of the network while the interest in Big Brother is still current so that they have a back-up in the off-chance that the show is in fact renewed.

:)

They should employ a purist to produce the show

What could possibly be better than this?

Exactly... BBUS in the early series always advertised for audition tape submissions near the end of the series despite the next series still being up in the air... It has only been in the last 5 to 6 years that the show has been renewed prior to the current series ending... Prior to that it wasn't until early spring... As it was explained to me the producers were always hopeful but were never certain...

Better yet... Despite having been promoted at Channel 10's up-fronts, appearing in a few 2010 promos, and having been mentioned by Channel 10 executives in a few media articles a 9th series of Australian Idol never materialized...

Right we know very little about the show's future and I for one am not going to allow the forums to get carried away like they did post BB8... We can discuss plausible media speculation in a reasonable and realistic manner but I will not stand for completely made up rumors or people who insist on jumping to conclusions based on the smallest of details... Take this as a warning... You don't want to piss me off...

Lets be honest here... I don't think they could employ anyone at this point who can save this show... Even a purist like myself... The show is too far gone now to go back to what it once was...

I would like to formally announce my candidacy for the 2015 Big Brother housemate hunt :asshat:

My election campaign consists of 5 promises to you, the people of Big Brother Land:
1. Nude, I will get Nude
2. Funny, I have a vast range of dad jokes that are surely to impress
3. Kiss, I will kiss the host
4. Temper, as with many Prime Ministers a temper is a bad thing but a great thing to watch
5. Proper English, I will use it ... unless drunk

You should start to see my posters on a light post near you any day from now.

Thank you for your consideration, stay classy

It's more proof that the 'expression of interest' is merely something for fans to go by before the real announcement
Obviously though. We don't need proof. Any person with a bit of logic should just understand it.

I don't mean for this to come across rudely, I'm all for being hopeful, but all of you who took this registration form and Sonia's message as evidence or confirmation of BB being renewed next year are a tad delusional.

We all just have to wait til early next year for any kind of concrete proof.

I'm sorry, don't yell at me D:

If they used their brains the marketing for this season writes itself.
"Back to basics" "Real people" "Harder rules" "Big Brother is stricter than ever".

Stop making it like a holiday for them and go back to the times where it was actually hard to live in there!

No I don't want that. Be more like the French. Let them live with good food every day. Many parties. Lots of fun. The HMs are given tasks all the time, secret tasks, they have to think a lot too, working out the secrets. The game has never a dull moment. Of course there is a lot of bitching etc... but is is interesting, every single minute of it. A secret task might be given to an HM where he has to seduce someone who is in couple, for a all week. That's not very nice, because it does hurt. I don't understand that after years of doing that the HMs fall for those tasks though.

It doesn't prove anything apart from, you can put you expression of interest in.

Just cause it says 2015, doesn't mean it's gonna happen.

I can you see you singing like on GLEE, LOL
you know it.
