So how old is Madeline?

I was SHOCKED when I found out Maddy was only 24. I pegged her as early 30s. She has a very hard face. She's lovely looking, sure, but I can't help but feel I'm watching Cersei from Game of Thrones every time she comes on screen. Not just because she looks a lot like Lena Heady (who is about 40) but because she's got that stern, offiicious icyness that is rare to see in women in their early 20s. It ages her.

I doubt she's lying about her age but yeah, I was astounded to find that she was 2 years younger than I am. Really bizarre.

As for Tim, I have actually noticed lately that he's been looking older. I came into the show late (4th week, I think) and he was the first housemate to catch my eye. I pegged him about 26 - my age. But lately he has started to look heaps older than that. If I didn't know he was 29 I'd probably think he was about 33 now, if not older. He looks... tired? Well, not tired exactly but sort of drawn out - certainly less bright than he did in the first month. He's also tanned more can make one look older.

I think being on staples make them all look older. You can tell a staples week from a non-staples week, their skin tends to look more sallow and they look more tired. And their skin and body tone worsens the longer they're in there, happens every year. Just goes to show how important diet is to looks and health. Maybe Maddie's body is reacting to the changes after being strictly maintained over the years.

genetics. what do mum and dad look like, young or old because the kids will look like that.

he is so grumpy. he seems like he's losing his... pep? like, he came in hard, to win, and now he's sort of lost his direction. he says he's got a heart now, but i think it's just harder to hide scheming in a smaller house, so he's changing strategy. to be honest, he sort of bores me. he can dish it but he can't take it and he should have left, not ben! ben's sweet and fun and tim is dull and snipey.

She does look older, but she was a body builder & you know they all take 'roids', so that could be the reason.

THIS^^^ Tim looks older than 29. I'd put him at about 33/34.

What age do the hm's look (to me)?
Tim is 29 - looks 33/34
Boog is 23 - looks 22/23
Maddie is 24 - looks 32/33
Drew is 24 - looks 23/24/25
Jade is 23 - looks 23/24
Mikkayla is 24 - looks 23/24
Ed is 26 - looks 33
Tahan is 24 - looks 19

Spot on!!

I agree with the dishing out (and the Ben part). Tim can dish it, and boy he REALLY dishes it good. But he can NOT take it, at all! He stirs the pot, backstabs, plants seeds & generally messes with people's minds & emotions. But if ANYONE, Mikkayla for example, dares to challenge or question him he doesn't like it one bit.

I especially love (hate) when he has upset someone but turns it around so that they are the villain. And the sheer audacity he has at demanding apologies from people when he is the one who should be apologising!

I've never known someone as manipulative, scheming, sly & calculating as him. He is like a cartoon villain, cackling & gleefully rubbing his hands together when he makes trouble.

That being said, Maddie makes me feel really good about myself. I have 10+ years on her and yet she looks significantly older than I do. Can't beat that.

That's interesting, cause the only people you usually see sunbathing or BAKING! are white people. Will people never learn, a tan may look good duh! but there are huge consequences.

Agreed. I don't even find a medium/dark tan all that attractive..probably cos I associate it with stupidity.

The testosterone she took when body building is why she seems older.

Yes , I've also been asking myself ....is Madeleine an early gender change person? im confused..i haven't prejudice against gender change people? but i'm thinking she has been coming on strong to Drew.....

I am always wondering why BB does not demand the HM's to wear sunscreen, unless he does and we don't see that. They should be setting a good example (family show and all that shit). WTF happened to Slip, Slop, Slap?
Tanning makes people age so much faster, not to mention you're risking your life.
Tahan has admitted to getting spray tans, so she probably does sunbake.
Also I noticed Maddie's shoulders looked very sun damaged, with small white patches, like you get on the backs of your hands.

maddie has bad skin in general I think that's why she wears so much makeup.

You mean a sex change? I highly doubt it but why would that have anything to do with liking Drew?

I have wondered this as well, how strict is BB with sun protection? I have a lot of friends in their early/mid twenties who are obsessed with tanning and don't wear sunscreen. They go out as soon as it sunny and spend a whole day baking so they get well and truly burnt, and use that as their base tan. It horrifies me.

I have an olive complexion, but I really don't sunbake. Actually in winter I am pretty pale. I tan just from being outdoors in summer, even if I try to avoid it.

I've had a friend who died from a melanoma (not one of the aforementioned sun worshippers, interestingly enough) and after seeing him in his final days, weeks and months, I'm pretty sure I will never sunbake again in my whole life.

The joke is on my sunworshipping friends though, at least in my head, as they might look "hotter" now with a tan, but at some point in the future they will look leathery and I will look youthful... hopefully.
