So...Back In 2015?

Tell us how you really feel Con :p

I can't say I was rushing out to watch them before. So weird to think about kids ever watching a renovation show, yet apparently that's their main demo.

Hey I'm just calling a spade a spade, don't know any other way. :)

The contrived nature and drama of these reality shows makes them the perfect substitute for kids who might not be into Home and Away, Neighbours etc... lol

And that's essentially what they are, soap operas with a reno/cooking/weight loss backdrop pretending to be reality shows. *rolleyes*

Um excuse you Con I watch Home and Away as well as the Block and will probably give Renovation Rumble a go.

Ok we now know who (one of the culprits anyway) to blame if BB doesn't return this year. lol

That some seriously awful tv taste you've got there, if you don't mind me saying so.

You really are a negative Nancy arn't you kingston! What makes you think you have real knowledge? Lol most things you say are outright risible and quite supercilious. I swear you disagree with everyone haha

Excuse me Miss I joined in 2013... You don't know me from Adam... When it comes to BB I don't think you'll find many other members that know as much about the format as I do...

"Negative" is such a subjective term to be using here... Just because I personally believe BB Australia is better left for dead does not mean I'm being "negative" for the sake of being negative... The ratings over the course of Nine's revival speak for themselves... That fact that even at the height of BB on Channel 9 the forums were never as active as they were when Channel 10 had the show...

I don't disagree with EVERYONE as you say... That said I am allowed to state my opinion of something being shared on a public forum... If I disagree with something it is my right to say so...

Kay dot. I'm sorry bro ham. Please forgive my foolishness.

Just saw an ad for Reno Rumble - hosted by Scott Cam, two teams against each other renovating two houses a week. One team is ex Blockers, the other team is ex House Rules contestants...... Sounds awful.

The article on TV Tonight:

Some comments:

Nine would have to be really worried about rehashing old talent yet again.
And series 1 House Rule contestants, who were they again?? Certainly the weakest of the crop.
And then more Scott Cam.
All feels very stale (no matter how much smoke and mirrors they throw at the promo).
This will definitely affect the next series of the Block.
Why are they running The Block into the ground like this??

Brekkie March 31, 2015 4:35 am

I assume this will air 8 nights a week for the next 53 weeks.

Scott Cam hosting this too? Is he trying to steal the crown for Eddie ‘Everywhere’ McGuire.

YAAASSSSS!!!!

You're really reaching for it on this one... The fact that obviously someone at Endemol liked that particular picture of Sonia really has nothing to do with whether or not BBAU will be back...

Now please spare us your crackpot theories... Unless you have some real knowledge of the subject and want to avoid a tongue lashing by yours truly you may want to just keep quiet on this one...

As I said above @Goon has already said BBAU will NOT be returning in 2015, nothing substantial has surfaced on the Channel 10 front, and BB is not suited for delivery on alternative media such as Netflix... Any sort of reply beyond factual evidence or insider knowledge is just grasping at straws... BBAU will NOT be returning for the foreseeable future... End of... Now go play in traffic little one...

LMAO is that the best you have.. keep quiet never listen I seen something and I spoke up ok, I don't give 2 hoots what you or anyone thinks until the day I cant log in then I will be worried but hey you act like a big boy when really all I see is a little fish in a big ocean trying to make a name for himself. Also while i think of it how do u know its not returning ???

@Kingston here just to make your day better

https://tv.nineaccess.com.au/

and this has been updated and its shows that are upcoming OH BTW BIG BROTHER IS FURTHER DOWN THE PAGE

^ hmm :/ you say it's being "updated" aye..

This is what I read off of their page when I had a look..
"It's a new house with a new group of housemates and it's sure to be a stormy season"

... Yep, very updated, considering that they are using last year's grab.
I'd say it was/is just a copy and paste job on their behalf.. to make it look like they have/had a lot of great titles to boast about.

I'm confused. Are you actually a fan of Big Brother or not?

I do think that the version of BB that was presented to us this year should be canned.
I predict that they're sitting on it for a year and then next year we'll see a 'back to basics' BB produced.
Whether this is wishful thinking or not it seems Endemol still believes in the BB brand and the show based on comments regarding the Logie nominations so maybe we'll see it back in 2016?
