did it look like skye had sung and re-sung THAT particular song (to the music) 100 + times?

For a girl that cannot (supposedly) take /memorise a food shopping order cos she has no idea what a kg is and for someone who cannot fkn add up etc, she did a ridiculously professional job of remembering the song AND especially the beats and pauses


Hmmm

Was she given a separate room to rehearse?

Are the producers hoping she is the next Danielle " underneath the radar" Foote ?
 
They had the lyrics on the screen and they all had a chance to listen to it apparently.

Of course she had. They all had. They were all given ipods loaded with THAT particular song, and were practicing to it. They also had the words, karaoke style, on the large tv screen in front of the 'stage' they sang on.
 
They all had the lyrics on paper and had headphones with the song playing to memorise it, and they had the lyrics on the TV screen in front of them when they sang, so I guess that answers your question..

This. The original post was bloody stupid. If someone is naturally gifted musically (which Skye certainly seems to be), of course they're going to grasp rhythm/beat/pauses/etc better than someone who isn't!

yeah, she was pretty awesome hey :inlove:
its pretty shocking how poorly the others rated in comparison, considering they had the same resources available to them. i guess skye just has raw talent that the others lack.

and while danielle was great, i dont think shes as great as skye.

I actually didn't know that.

They lyrics were on our screen, yes, but was it on some screen out there too? Didn't notice...

Yep @ raw talent. I maintain that you can either sing, or you can't. The mantra that 'everyone can sing' is shit. I had a music teacher who believed that, and I constantly felt inadequate and self-conscious because I was a drummer (and terrible singer) in a class of wonderful singers. It's like making a cake. If you've got the right ingredients, or raw talent as it were, you can make a fucking croquembouche if you become good enough. Without the ingredients, you ain't gonna make shit.
