Skye standing up for herself

before he even opened his mouth, his glare and the way he looked at her screamed intimidating. Like how dare she have an opinion or discuss anything with him. She spotted him doing it, she couldn't pinpoint what it was, but the atmosphere was tense for her and she felt it. Ryan is telling her about maturity, yet walks off laughing with bimbo comment thrown in there by Sandra, and that mature? He was deliberately trying to throw her off by using her weakness to articulate imo

Now why can't people see that? I felt Ryan's intimidation from the beginning and I was not even in the house.

Correct.

Ryan has such a fucked up attitude though. He really is arrogant. I can't stand the whole way he talks about respect, yet he gives none.

You can't ignore the context of the discussion he had right before. Personally I hate when people in BB play the game by targeting and being mean to people. Being so deliberately shit to someone. I don't see it so much as playing the game, but just letting their inner arsehole out.

two things come to mind: 1) He is unaware of his own behavior (lacks self awareness) or 2) He has this entitled attitude where people need to meet his standards, but he doesn't have the same requirements because he is just a pretentious prick.

I'm for the latter

Great post! Ryan gave Skye daggers, if looks could kill Skye would be dead. You could see the rage simmering away beneath his skin, he was starting to go red with anger. He was intimidating and arrogant. He knew what Skye was trying to say about happy people getting down sometimes. He just didn't want to listen to her.

I'm going for the latter too. He seems to think his views/opinions are better than anyone else's. He HATES people disagreeing with him, or questioning him. He is a hateful little shit.

Oh big time! Like up all night said, before the fight happened, ryan was outside saying how he was going to shit stir etc. He had a goal! so no surprise straight after he is on the attack with skye. I personally think if he wasn't in the bb house, he would lose his cool and go off, I just sense that.

I hope him and the sad sack who follows is evicted this coming eviction.

I said this last night in the live thread... after he had gone into the room and starting bitching about cat just standing there and Jason too etc, like what did he expect? For everyone to jump on sky and attack her too? Yep get involved and be on his side... that shit me just as much as him attacking skye for some reason, like I was set off even more by it.

I am clapping this post. Well said. Ryan is an angry, hostile, arrogant asshole. He is a massive bully. I hate the bastard.

A lot of people justify this kind of behavior with a "pat me on the back, I'm all edgey and cool because I was just being honest" or "I was just telling it like it is". Lisa used to do this. Sam certainly did and I think Ryan does it too...and Sandra for that matter. To think that their opinion is always the truth is mindblowingly arrogant. To think that being rude and cruel in inflicting these opinions on other people is acceptable social behavior is repulsive. I remember Lisa saying when she was cruel to Gemma that she was just being honest and "she needed to hear it". According to who, Lisa? It shows them to be totally self absorbed people with a smallness of character and no empathy. Ryan displayed it last night. He did the whole you people are not good enough for me because I'm so deep and I'm telling you how it is, not asking for your opinion. Don't dare argue with me, just behave like I tell you. But its all good because this year they're getting evicted.

I agree. I hate the "I'm just being honest" excuse in any situation- a way to side track from saying something cruel and hateful. I mean, great- you're being honest; honesty is good. But when it's just an excuse for verbal vomit. Ugh. Annoying and manipulative way to try and hurt someone.

Yeh, forgot about him saying that. You have a good point. Still lets see if he can back it up. His people seem to be disappearing at a great rate... what does he only have Sadsack and Lawson left ( & old Dave who keeps changing sides). Funny how the bb house always splits in two about this time.

Well said. Agree with you 100%. I hate the "I'm just being honest" bullshit. Isn't it interesting that people who are bullies use this bullshit line. There is such a thing as diplomacy.

Agreed. Assholes use this excuse to get away with bullying people. It's really one of my pet peeves.

So what if she is, she has perfectly good reasons to be 'up herself'.
