Sick of people misunderstanding & demonising Tim

Tim is seriously the only reason I watch, I tried to vote in that poll somewhere on here "favourite ex housemate" and I looked through the options and I was like meh to all of them. Tim makes it fun to watch, nearly everyone else makes me cringe from second hand embarrassment or scowl in annoyance and i don't like that ^_^

Um, no he wasn't. Did you not see him crying in the DR after Ben was evicted, saying he only niggled him because he loved him so much? A true bully (like Ben Norris) would have taken joy from attacking their target ("I meant every word I said!") and reacted with unbridled glee if their target was evicted (like he did when he threw the horse over the fence).

it makes Tim look like he didnt mean it. well I think he did. and he removed Jade so that Tully could get evicted, and yet he was supposed to be friends with Drew. he laughed at that.

I guess Tim did bully Ben... like tickle him, hug him, console Ben in the bathroom..

Wow, what bullshit.

Tim messed up Ben's bed, kept scaring him at night by jumping into his bed, started throwing food around in the kitchen at Ben to frustrate him, accused him of not being himself and being a fake, put something in his tea that he didn't like, etc.. And that's off the top of my head.

Id hardly call messing up someones bed and scaring them bullying.

I still can't get over the number of people saying Tim is "nasty", "evil", a "bully" etc etc I honestly think the people who see him like that do so because they don't understand or 'get' him...and the people he likes are the ones who see him for who he really is. IMO it's all gamesmanship...outside of the game he seems a wonderful person with a heart of gold. When I think of Ben last year, I see an evil little c*nt who I could imagine being just as horrid in real life. And someone who hid behind "playing the game" in order to bully & ostracize, behaviour which would have come naturally anyway. . While being the best manipulator BB has seen, Tim on the other hand has never (IMO) been deliberately malicious towards anyone. His game has been about furthering himself, rather than destroying everyone else.

Exactly!

I'm sick of Tim fans not understanding that not all of us love him as much as you guys do.

Every other HM's thread is hijacked by Tim fans, this is exactly the same as last year with Estelle fans, I liked Estelle and I don't mind Tim but certain people are attracting a certain type of fan who just cannot accept that others might find them annoying or just don't like them. It's no reason to hate, just accept that people have different opinions and support who you support (albeit with a little less aggression and psychotic rants about the other HM's).

Wholeheartedly concur.

I consider myself to be a Tim fan and appreciate the fun his quirky persona has brought to the show. But that doesn't mean I'm blind to his flaws and hypocrisy. Tim has had his moments of maliciousness, just because his fanbois are unwilling to concede it and firmly believe the sun shines out of his arse, doesn't mean it never happened.

use some paragraphs if you want me to read this. Tim is a class A wanker!

I'm drawn to people who aren't afraid to show a bit of vulnerability, and this is a trait which Tim definitely has. For example during that lunch when Ed started picking on Tim and trying to make him look bad in front of all the other Housemates and audience, Tim was big enough to approach Ed later on and say "Are we cool?"

I remember Tim was clearly being humble, and if Ed hadn't cut Tim off, Ed would've heard Tim being very co-operative, and trying to reach an agreement, but Ed wouldn't let Tim finish speaking. Tim was being the opposite to aggressive, I wish Ed had've listened to him. As much as I would love to see Drew win, I don't think it will happen, so Tim is my next pick. Plus Tim (or Drew) don't seem to have people on the outside setting up different ways to get people to ring the 1900 Save Housemate number.

Also in my personal opinion people who care about our animals/wildlife/whales/dolphins are really decent and caring people. I sat here laughing at Tim's guinea pig collection and all their names, Lady Gaga ....etc. That was so funny but so sweet as well.

Of course I understand that not everyone shares the same opinion as me. I can clearly see the reasons others may not like him. I just disagree with them. Each to their own.

hear, hear. That's why I like him & Tahan - both totally unafraid to share all of themselves, good and bad.

I just posted this in another thread, but I could have well posted it here too,

I will come out and say that I am still backing Tim to win. I can not vote as I am in the states, but I have to take the whole of the season into why. The last week is stressful in all countries. You finally see true vulnerabilities, lack of confidence, insane behaviors escalated, etc., but in the end of what, 99 days?, who out of the remaining has played the game the most that you respect?

For some it is Tim, others Tahan, many such as myself just want Drew gift wrapped to take home and then there is lovely Jade who many either like or dislike as she ended up making herself look like the ,,, with ED. (insert your word and I know some have positive feelings)

I like game play. I think three of the remaining originals, Tim, Tahan, and Drew have earned that spot at the end. I did like Jade weeks ago, but her play was thrown off by Ed and she did it to herself, just my opinion. I don't think anyone can argue the passion we BB lovers have for our favorites!

I learned in season two in the US, season one was understanding what BB was and the only season the public had a vote, that all do not perceive HM's equally. I respect everyone's opinions, but regardless of the "Boog" factor or Tim in the last couple of days I still want him to win in the end. Throughout the show, DR's and in words to all he stated flat out he wanted to win and he was there to do it. If nothing else he has shown us transparently all sides to him, good and bad.

Saying that though from where I sit if Tahan or Drew were to win I would not be disappointed as I think they also have played a good game, but I still overall like Tim. I do respect all of you and your favorites and opinion. I can't not nor would I diminish your opinions.

(I know many like Boog. She is entertaining as we all have seen, can take on Tim well, but I myself do not see a veritable side to her that I see in the other four)

That is a pretty big generalisation. Just because 5 or 6 Tim fans hijack threads it doesn't mean the other 40-50 on this forum do. I know people do not like Tim and I am fine with that. That is their opinion and I am not selfish enough to think that everybody else thinks and feels the same way I do.

I wouldn't call him evil or a bully, though the words 'douche', 'nutbag' and 'wanker' come to mind.

Yes because you call people retards who dont agree with you and Mikkayla so fat so nothing surprises me from you.

Are you going to throw another fat joke again?

Lol what are we trying to argue about now? Tubs? :)

True, but unfortunately it's the way the world works, the minority will always make more noise than the majority so we usually generalise based on what we hear, see or read, which always turns out to be the minority.
