Back in 2009 at the first Perth Supanova, David Finch was one of the superstar guests, and I had the chance to hold the original pencilled/inked page for this picture in my hands. Unfortunately David wanted $USD 4000.00 for it which was a little bit more than I had in my wallet at the time so I didn't buy it.

But a few weeks ago I found a decent-sized-but-low-res copy of the inks online so gave them some colours. (A bit pixelly overall, but generally ok.) Which will have to do I suppose...

Finally...Finished...!

This has taken me the better part of a month. Days upon days to flat every single nit picky detail and then to go and colour it all.

These were low res inks so it lacks a certain sharpness but it still came out ok.
