Ryan Getting 38% Of Save Votes

I smell a huge rat.
Is it true that Ryan's family are wealthy? If so, they must be spending huge amounts on Facebook votes.
It is the only explanation I can come up with for why he trounced in the save votes Priya and Jason, who arguably have far more fan support, if this forum is any accurate indication anyway.
And Ryan hardly got a good edit out of the whole confrontation with Skye last week.

It was his first time up which makes a big difference versus possible voting fatigue from supporters of the others. Even Ed's family and their ridiculous campaigns never saw him the most saved (I don't think?) so I think family can only do so much.

Yeh, its pretty strange when we haven't been seeing much of him (apart from frozen chickens all over the place). He got a pretty good edit last night but unless not many people vote (sorry I am one such slacker), there is no way last nights show could have helped him. Do some people vote to save as a way to get someone out? I used to prefer vote to evict.

Drew got heaps of votes (twice as many as Tim) first time he was up last year.

I think he's just this years version of Drew - will avoid nomination and when he is up all the chicks will come and save him, but when it gets down to the finals he won't get the votes.

Ryan did open up about his battle with depression, how far his father went to help him through it, and his father's current plight of caring for Ryan's ailing mother. It was a very honest dialogue, and showed a completely different side to him (you can't watch it and walk away thinking that the guy is shallow).

That could have had everything to do with it.

I must admit I didn't like him until I saw this scene. I saw him in a different light. So maybe that helped ...

Well lisa, katie and jake are rallying for him

Matthew from bb last year

And his sister gf is dating the guy from amazing race

I wouldn't be worried.

Tahan had a massive campaign last year and it didn't help her

It was all from that "celebrity" that promoted him.

Can't remember who it was, or who he even is.

It's crazy. I cannot understand why anyone who doesn't watch the show would spend money on some random guy just because a celeb told them to.
I mentioned in another post that Ryan always shows up well in "Radar" compared to other housemates even though in this forum previously we all joked about "Ryan Spottings" I did not understand why but with the proper endorsement it makes more sense.
With Sam going and being nominated he has gotten some more camera time and I think I may like him so it may be okay.

I don't think it would be people who don't watch BB. It's probably people who watch BB, but like Ryan only because that celebrity likes him/knows him.

Heck, I'd do it too (if I voted) if it was the right celebrity.

I just find the whole voting process really shady.

Like, one week, Sam was chosen by the public as Head of House, then the next week, he is evicted on lowest save votes? What the...?

And Ryan, who as Sonia pointed out has basically not been on the show, gets the most Save votes?
At first, I really did not like him because he seemed like a dumb, shallow surfer bro type, but that monologue he gave where he opened up about his depression and his family, etc, that definitely changed my perspective on him. But why is that the only part we see of him that is genuinely appealing? Is he just boring? Or does he just not have many honest moments for BB to air?

And as much as I did a 180 on my opinion about him, it would not be enough for me to vote to Save him.
So the whole 38% Ryan Save votes is so fishy to me (and it'is not the first time I have thought the voting in the show was fishy, in past seasons too).
The whole voting process is fishy. I get that predictabiltiy is boring, but consistency could at least be expected.

Then again, Priya is still in and the people I have wanted out have basically gone out each week.
So I'm not going to complain about whatever riggage is possibly going on. :/

maybe its just that people voting or thinking about voting for Priya Jason and David all got complacent and thought they would be safe up against Sandra and possibly Ryan ... so held off voting until after the first eviction believing they'd be able to vote then?
and they've been caught out?

It saved her every week until she had to compete with Eds fans voting for Jade. Her fans spent a lot of money to keep her in the house every week she was nominated.

This is the first time Ryan has been nominated and he isn't up against his real competition of Skye or Travis or maybe even Leo. The people that vote for Ryan aren't interested in trying to save Priya, David or Jason.

Not that I dislike Ryan, but the 38% thing last night looked odd to me.
I missed most of last nights episode. I saw some of Sandra getting evicted/being onstage. I didn't think they showed the percentages last night, because of another eviction tonight? How do you know Ryan got 38% to save votes? And if he did...OMG! Who would save that snake in the grass? Sorry to all the poor snakes out their lol.

I think he is likable.

He is as cute as a kitten, and he looks good shirtless.

He has survived longer than I first gave him credit.

While I don't think he will win, I think he will survive a couple more evictions before he has to walk the plank.
