Rebecca (sCat's better sister) on the live stage - how do you feel about the blatant manipulation?

loved it! Anything to help HM #13 in the sweeps is a-ok with me.
But seriously, it is unfair to the other HM, I mean where is one on one interviews with Davids or Priya's family??

Since Clawson is the most talked about BB was doing it for ratings.

As I said to Reni, during the show, it was nothing but a red herring designed to make us think the evictee was going to be Cat.
Marina was a sure thing to be evicted and they wanted to cast doubt on that to avoid being accused of being predictable so they scripted an interview with Cat's twin.

I didn't understand the point of it, because I feel like nobody really gives a fuck about #Clawson anymore. Like, the daily show edits this week so far have painted them as more or less a regular couple; even when Lawson was explaining the situation to Penny (I think?) there didn't seem to be an air of judgement or hatred or anything. It seemed like everyone was rather accepting of the situation and at peace with it, even Lawson and Cat. So to then drag Rebecca on stage with storm clouds on the screen behind her... I dunno, it seemed disjointed and confusing, but I guess that's to be expected from the show now.
It would've made perfect sense if they had gotten Rebecca and someone close to Lawson on stage when this thing first started, and I wouldn't have had an issue with it at all, because it would've been topical and relevant. But doing it tonight just made no sense. I don't even necessarily see it as manipulation or favouritism, I just see it as the producers trying desperately to hold onto the one thing the seemed to get people talking.

I need to return some video tapes.
I think it was an plea from the sister asking Australia to go easy on her when she gets out? We all know what happened with the Tully Drew thing. This is pretty much the same thing.

The Ch9 media/pr team would have organised it and her sister probably would have been aware of some of the questions.
I think the interview was totally unfair and stupid. We didn't see any of Tully's siblings on stage last year when she was doing the same thing?
None of the other family members got interviewed tonight and I don't remember ever in the past few seasons that someones family member has been up on stage for some Oprah style interview.
As if her sister was going to start bagging her out on national television. "Oh yes my family is really ashamed of her for acting like a dog on heat and being a home-wrecker."
I think they're trying get into damage control before the media shit storm Clawson are going to face.
So next week we will have Travis' brother on stage talking about him and Aisha? Great!

The muppets writing the show seem to have no idea what we want to see. Show me housemates talking to each other, for whole conversations. Please.
Someone thought this would have been good tv. The 'Count to 10,000' thread is more compelling than that chat was. This isn't Tully and Drew. Fucks given are minimal.
Perhaps it is damage control, because they don't want boos like that barrista got in BBUS. Nah, they just thought itwould be popular.
It's like they forget to show any footage of the hms after they have shown all of their contrived storylines and twists.

That because the newest storyline is crazy Cat.[DOUBLEPOST=1414498997][/DOUBLEPOST]

This is way better than Drully.
It was manipulation. And I don't think it was her sisters intent, but the line of questioning from Sonia moved it that way. It was completely unfair for other HM's. It was to promote Cat. And that isn't fair to the other HM's. If Cat's family/friends get that right, everyone's family and friends deserve it. Cat's sister is quite frankly an idiot for agreeing to do that interview - did we see Tully's friends and family doing that last year? No. Cat's twin is as attention seeking and money hungry as her sister
