Ratings Thread 2013

In all honesty, that is VERY disappointing considering it's so close to the finale and it was a double. How on earth can a crap show like Big Bang outdo Big Brother????

p.s - W.A wouldn't rate as highly because of the time delay - they already know the answer and just can't be bothered to watch it 3 HOURS LATER!!! LOL!

Big Bang ALWAYS rates really well for new episodes. Has Been a huge hit for Nine, hence the endless repeats.

As a comparison, the same show last year, Monday 5th November, rated 1.03 million. So this year's number was slightly, but certainly not dramatically, down on that.

Big Bang Theory makes me want to put a gun to my head.

Only then will we see a Big Bang. oh yeah ;)

Wow! Fantastic results!

A little bit telling that the numbers dropped off. Usually the 'winners announced' portion is the highest rating portion.
A symptom of a slightly drawn out finale. the Theorist

Adjusted numbers

Winner announced 1.52 million
The Celebration 1.28 million
Main program 1.15 million

Very solid numbers for the finale. Big Brother, while not achieving the sort of total people figures that the talent shows (apart from AGT) get, does a job for Nine, gives them very healthy demos. The signs were positive when they extended the season, and now we know 2014 is locked in. A good way to end the season with those ratings.

Solid Ratings for the Finale. Does anyone else think we could be seeing Big Brother earlier next year? (ie. Winter) because they have already announced the new season and opened applications.

Yes, only 5 months to BBAU2014

Hmm good point. I think you could be right. I hope so. I prefer when the season starts earlier on in the year.

I'd much prefer a winter BB, like how they used to do it. It also means it won't be up against bigger shows again like X Factor, etc.

Honestly, while I hated how contrived they made this whole season, I do have a slight feeling (maybe it's just wishful thinking though) that next year will be even better in terms of being another step closer to the original BB. This year they took a couple more risks with the format, and while they still have A LOT to iron out, I reckon next year they'll take a few more "risks", per say.

At least I hope so. But I can't get my hopes up.
