Very good result! Has it ever topped all three demographics?
Awesome. I just checked the graph - it did on the Thursday in Week 1.

If you'd asked me two weeks ago, I'd have said I thought there'd be very little chance of a Big Brother 2014. Now I'd say there's a reasonable chance. Hopefully the ratings momentum of the last week or so can build!
Can we help? Like using social media? Talking about it there and spreading the word?
Not many of my friends like it, but some do

yes, of course!
that's why they put live tweets into the show, it's makes people wanna tweet and basically generates free advertising. the higher it trends, the more people will go "oh wow, what am I missing out on? I better check it out!"
do yes! tweet and FB! and don't forget #bbau and whatever their @name is (bbau9 ?)

Yep! bbau9 - I use the #bbau whenever I tweet Alex M or something BB related, but don't generally tweet during the show, coz I'm on here or too tired!

daily show on friday is always low , asame as last year but , keep in mind people , what matters is the DEMOS , total viewers is not as important , its the same as in USA demographs is what really matters and in DEMOS bb is at the top
Inigo Montoya
The New Dread Pirate Roberts.
Just saw this on TV tonight
http://www.tvtonight.com.au/2013/09/seven-wins-total-people-nine-wins-demos.html
So Seven wins the week but Nine wins the demos. Looks like Big Brother helped and I'm assuming now that BB will be back next year.

But that article is talking about network shares so it includes the numbers for 72 and GO etc. Seven's main channel beat Nine's in 2 of the 3 demos.Just saw this on TV tonight

And in a cruel twist, last week's eviction show, that we were all pleased to see get more than one million in preliminary numbers, in the actual figures for the week had its number adjusted down to 999,000 - so close!

In the end, it's the NETWORK share that counts anyway, so don't worry about that. Also, 999,000 is what the eviction got WITHOUT adjustment (this is what is quoted in the ratings prior to adjustment). Anyway, last year's series is quoted as reaching an average of 1.04m, which is actually the consolidated rating. So Nine is more concerned about consolidated ratings more- and that should push it over 1m.
EVICTION - MONDAY, 23RD SEPTEMBER 2013
932K - #4 in total people.
#1 in all demos (25-54, 18-49 and 16-39).
Excellent!

It should be noted many shows last night did not air in all markets which is why many shows in the Top 20 have low viewership and why Big Brother was probably pushed into 4th place. Still 932k is still excellent and topping all demos too is great!
Yeah Today Tonight and Home and Away is usually above BB. But that would have still put it in 6th. Fairly strong night.

Yeah, Home & Away and Today Tonight dropped below purely due to not being shown in Adelaide and Perth, and Perth respectively. Ratings were down overall on last week, down in the Brownlow sates, up in the non-Brownlow states.
