Same here. I am sick of cooking show or talent show. Also people might watch MC and record BB.

756k - #10 in total people.

Not in the top 5 of the 25-54 demo, #4 in 18-49 and #3 in 16-39.
 
Demo wise, not bad. Certainly not stellar, but not bad.

Total people wise, down nearly 100k on the week before, which isn't too good. I expect some intruders very soon to try and bring the ratings up.

Though I will say that Big Brother time shifts quite well in comparison to other reality shows so hopefully these numbers go up.

626k - #9 in total people.

#3 in 25-54 demo, #1 in 18-49 and #1 in 16-39.
 
Great results. #1 in both younger demos is fantastic.

Low total numbers but only 2 programs just scraped over the magic million last night. It won't be long until we are calling it the magic 700k

As I've learned from the wonderful [MENTION=486]bleachy_dude[/MENTION] , it's all about demos rather than actual ratings nowadays. The demos did drop off this week but for them to be number 1 on a Friday is frankly, outstanding!

Australia may have the same population, what's 'local' equal exactly?

Americans/UK/other nation viewers you need to keep in mind we are only 22million.

A high rating show here is just over 1million.

1 and a bit is a mega hit. 2 is for the finales of mega hits.

Aussie TV watching has dropped off enormously over the last techie decade, we love tech, we are the fastest tech taking up population worldwide - isolation does that, and historically it's been so for ever. We also read more than any other nation.
We download a lot, we hold the record for stealing Game of Thrones.

Literally that historic isolation makes us clamber for news and connection, and made us travel mad.

And - our teenagers go out and get pissed (drunk) Friday & Saturday nights.

How are Oztam figures adjusted for poor sods like me who start work at 5am, and can't afford to stay up and watch "first run" content, even if at 7pm? I'm married (and still cohabit with him!!!; but he has an even *worse* work schedule...)

I fully admit that I only catch BB on catchup, mostly via the official site to lift views on ads because I know that's what pays the bills; but on occasion I'll stray to YouTube - mostly if I have nothing else to read online, so I CBF waiting for the endless ambi pur ads to expire... Hi Layla; sold many souls this week?

If Oztam is still working on the old 2.4 nuclear family and 1 TV set... ouch. I can't imagine they are; but, yeah, I'm over the age of 40, and have never met anyone "sampled" with a ratings box, so it's an utter mystery.
