The minimum wage in Queensland, I have no idea under what award. I know it because I remember reading a news article on it years ago.

I don't think that's right. This academic paper interviewed previous reality show contestants, and Irena commented that in 2003 the HMs received a $500/week stipend each.

I auditioned for a reality show on 9 back in 08. I was in my early 20's. I asked about getting paid and they said they would pay us each about $500 a week if we made the show. That was then though.
