This may be Michael's undoing?

Kinda hope so because he is pulling the strings in there bigtime.

and with more Sam and Avas comming in they will be more insecure with any luck. all future intruders should be good looking and hunky with a killer smile.

Has this bee confirmed on the OS website? Tim posted that 7 'intruders' were coming in but I thought he was kidding. lol

I think Tim was kidding about the 7 intruders as well but I think it is definitely reasonable to expect that there will be at least 1 or 2 more. Maybe there will be 7 entering and we or the Housemates vote to keep only 1-3 in. I doubt that would happen though. I am fairly certain another will enter next week and I think they will have 3 on standby who will be able to replace Estelle, George, or Bradley i.e. A young kid, a bulky hottie and a good looking girl. Who goes in out of those 3 depends on who is evicted this Sunday.

Yep. He confirmed it with his explanation as to why he wouldn't shave it too.

He says he had just come out of a 6 year long relationship. I figure when he is willing to let the stuff go from that experience...think he said it happened just before he came in...he will do what women do.......get a hair cut , wax , nails done and become the person he did not look like before. Feel this is some of what he feels with Josh........it all happening with Ava so quickly. Don't think Michael appreciates how easy it is to lead a bloke who is thinking with his dick. For some reason I dont think Michael is a very impulsive person.
His brain stops before the mouth goes into forward drive.

LEAVE MICHAEL ALONE!

the only real flaw I see is verbalising his insecurities, insecure men make me gag.

But that's how BB works. They verbalise. We pounce.

I'm afraid we have Michael in our sights now.

He may be intelligent as per testing standards, but I've yet to see any real indication of him being really smart about the game. I dont think he's ever been the alpha male. I actually think Ben has more of an alpha type in him. Michael is not living up to his potential in the house at all and he's boring me.

Making nasty snide remarks about housemates (calling Ryan stupid, George boring etc...) and having an unjustified pompous superiority complex over some of the excluded housemates isn't enough proof that this little fat ranga is one unpleasant douche bag then no wonder so many of his fans like Ben as well.

LEAVE MICHAEL ALONE!

Granted we have seen him at his emotional worst in the last 48 hours, but you mark my words, he will scramble his way back in to your hearts, you wait and see.

He is a great all round guy and a super housemate to watch, he has all the qualities you need in a long term housemate, he is smart, sarcastic, self deprecating, opinionated and ridiculously funny, the only real flaw I see is verbalising his insecurities, insecure men make me gag.

So long as it is only insecure men who make you gag. :p

I now think Michael , Ava, Sam to win, and the rest can go away. Seem to be the only normal people around atm.

Nooooooooooooooo. Noooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I will sacrifice Ben and Stacey ( chuck, vomit, spit ) , to save Michael.

michael was a favourite of mine early, but his lack of perseverence, gross insecurities and childish outbursts have sunk him to the bottom third. he's milquetoast

They weren't nasty snide comments!

They were observations!

Ryan is fucking stupid!

George is fucking boring!

To most in here, I am an over-opinionated, judgemental, pain in the arse, who doesn't understand big words and overuses exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's an observation which is somewhat negative, and that's okay. Not everyone thinks you are a superstar!

When did we become so fragile as human beings?

But back to being an over-opinionated, judgemental pain in the arse. By your own definition did you notice your own "nasty snide comments" towards the fat ranga and the unpleasant douche? That sort of smacks hypocrite don't you think?

I don't get it.
They've been in there how long now ?

Surely our esteemed forum members would understand and appreciate that "cabin fever" takes hold in many ways. Sure, we're seeing a different side to Michael, but how much of this is due to lack of stimulation, nicotine withdrawal, diet restrictions, monotony of the same walls, monomtony of the same conversations, etc, etc .... ???

For all HM's there's periods of adjustment, establishing routines, destabilising of said routines by introduction of tasks/intruders, mixed with inexplicable emotional challenges .... you lose friends as fast as you make 'em, you're confronted with situations/people you'd never experience (or preferably avoid) in real life.

He's being challenged on levels he's normally not be asked of ... he's verbalising his thoughts, he's rationalising his own theories and sharing it with us. It shows me that behind everyone lies insecurities of some description. You can be as talented, intelligent, articulate or whimsical as you like, but EVERYONE has their little sore spots.

Do you expect that HM's simply "act the same" for their duration in the house ?
I like the 'evolving Michael' we're seeing now !

Don't get me wrong. I'm just shooting at Michael's head while it's above the parapet. I reckon he should stay awhile too.

That's fair comment. I prefer the HMs like Michael who offer opinions about their situation and cohabitants. He finds George boring and says so. He's perturbed by the appearance of Sam and Ava and has a gripe. He gives us material to discuss about how he's dealing with life in the house.

The criticism and analysis of him doesn't necessarily translate as disapproval of his presence. He's in my top half of HMs.

You stick your head up, and someone is going to take a shot at it. Michael included.

I agree with your answer to me and to CKA too . :)

For quite a while, Michael's observations and self deprecating humour made him fairly watchable. Almost enough to make me overlook the hair-from-'72 and whingeing. But the sight of him, in one episode, actually pushing down his pants to show more crack... No. Do not want on screen.

Michael? Puppet master? He can't even pull the strings on his shorts!!

With Michael as with Bradley and George - is there much of a story left to tell? Much value left to add? Anything we haven't already seen?

Contrast with Estelle, and lately Layla, who show us something new every day.

Not sure how interested I'll remain if Estelle goes tonight. So count those votes carefully Ch9

Yep and michael and bb realise those stories are over, mikey can feel it slipping away from bromance to romance now he's a 3rd wheel - so he starts doing nudie runs.
And BB gives Brad a make-over.
Is George going please?

I've never liked Michael.
For someone to be pompous and arrogant, they need a decent reason to and....quite frankly his IQ level isn't jaw dropping, there's better.
He's a big fish in a little pond, and you can tell by how he acts.

All of that could be forgiven if he took pride in his appearance and groomed.
