Actually, Priya gave the impression that they were all in a group or alliance after Travis came back from the Sanctuary by telling him they had a full group again. She then went and used her power play to give everyone in this "group" points to get them up for nomination while giving no points to people not in the group, which I said makes no sense to me.
That being said, I believe it is probably hard for them to form any kind of true alliance because they can't talk to each other about who they nominate which I think totally defeats the "game" purpose of Big Brother. How can they be strategic and make alliances if they can't even discuss who they're going to vote for with their alliance?
Sorry, I wasn't talking about impressions. I was talking about the actual alliance verbally formed. No more nominations. Ergo, moot. Though I'm sure the emotional support will remain between them.
" And what is the point in Priya making an alliance just to go against it? Makes no sense....at all"
Because skye wouldn't know Priya voted for her
"If it is every man for himself, then don't make an alliance. And why wouldn't Priya give points to Skye? Well, uh, because Priya said she was aligned with Skye (aligned means working with them"
You're answering your own questions..
When you are in an alliance with someone, you protect each other in the game, not secretly go and vote against them. Again, my opinion stands, it was a terrible game move for Priya to go and give votes to people in her own alliance. The goal of the alliance should be to give the points to the people NOT in the alliance and once those people are gone then you start giving points to people in your own alliance. Sure, she can give points to Skye without Skye knowing but that completely defeats the purpose of being in an alliance. If you are only looking out for yourself, don't try making alliances you have no intention on sticking with. It seems like the only people in the Big Brother game who understand the concept of an alliance and actually protecting each other are David, Ryan and Skye (and no I am not fans of any of them) but at least they tried to help out their alliance members with their power play.
Not to mention, Priya also tried to bribe one of her own alliance members to leave the house with money. When, once again, she should have been trying to get someone from the other side out. She picks Aisha knowing that 1. Aisha is on Priya's "team". 2. Knowing that Aisha was most likely going to decline it because she wasn't going to want to leave Travis alone in the house with Marina after all that "flirting" stuff that went down and 3. Aisha was already safe for that week. It seems to me that Priya doesn't put much thought into her game playing decisions at all. And you can't bring Aisha and Travis getting the chance to leave together into the equation because Priya didn't know that at the time. Her best bet would have been to offer that to someone who was on the other side of the house or someone who was up for nominations. I could go on and on about the bad decisions Priya has made in the game without trying to take digs at other board members to get my point across.

Ok that was too long to read.
But you can have an alliance and then back stab / blind side

And Priya never knew that Aisha was going to be offered the money. She was asked a question and gave a name and bb ran with that
