Priya Appreciation Society

I live near a busy Tram stop and sometimes (i.e. just now) when I have my window open I can hear the nonsensical ramblings of random, old, drunk men that have been kicked off the tram, often yelling profanities in the hopes that it will change the tram drivers' mind (?) and they will let him back onto the tram.

Just remembered my 4th favourite Priya moment. When she said she doesn't believe that there are Male and Female tendencies. "What's girly about going about doing you're nails and picking flowers? I'm sorry, I just don't agree with that at all."

Classic sign of a pretend intellectual. Not understanding the concept of generalisations. Generalisations only come to exist because they contain an element of truth - they generally are true - they are a good rule of thumb. People who lack the ability to distinguish between the idea that generalisations don't always hold true and that they shouldn't be use to judge people before knowing them, and the fact that they ARE GENERALLY true, are idiots. If you went around saying "gee, Germans are terrible drives aren't they", the other person would say what the fuck are you talking about. They have to be generally true to get off the ground.
