The species is listed on the IUCN Red List as endangered, mostly due to habitat loss and poachers. They’re a perennial favorite of wildlife traffickers: By weight, their scent glands are more valuable than gold, fetching as much as $45,000 per kilogram on the international black market.
people that do this should be lined up along the side of the road, shot in the back of head, then left for the buzzards to feed on.

I find this interesting, in that, it's a public service announcement courtesy of Queensland Rail?:bored:

This is actually a PTV 'public announcement' for Melbourne commuters. When it first came out 2 or 3 years ago, it apparently got world wide attention via social media and even won an award of some kind. lol

Interesting it's now spreading all over the country.
