People like those qualities. Her confidence and looks are great. It's her immaturity and bitchyness that people don't like.

But it's not surprising either that some people will overlook her bad qualities because she's pretty then they'll say "Oh you're just jealous because she's pretty" no matter how awful her personality gets.

She's just not nice or mature. She goes around saying everybody is fake and pouting and finding reasons to dislike people. I could go around this forum saying "Hey your post is stupid and you're stupid. Sorry, just being honest. Don't be mad because I'm such an honest person." but I think we all know that this type of "honesty" is really just cruelty trying to get away with it.

Just a little perspective...

My daughter grew up with Tahan and when I asked her today if she was a 'mean girl', she was immediately puzzled. She was very surprised at some of the things that had been said (by Jade and the Sugars when nominating) and said that at school, she was highly competitive, excelled at everything she tried but was always kind and inclusive of others.

She did say that she hadn't had that much to do with her lately and suggested that perhaps getting into modelling had changed her but that she would be very surprised.

She is straight forward and direct and in that, I think it is easy for things to be misunderstood/misconstrued.

I have supported her since the start, but some of the things she says in the diary room (about being able to beat so and so) have been very off putting. She needs to pull her head in a bit else she finds herself out on her arse.
 
Still a Tahan fan. There is just too much hate going on like a lynch crowd based on hearsay. She really doesn't deserve your hate. Mikkayla has even admitted Tahan was her least favourite for her honesty and Ed and Tim, even Heidi grew to trust Tahan.

Thanks for the validation. I think Tahan was just venting her anger in the diary room, letting off steam.

It's odd that people complain about people venting emotions and frustrations. Isn't that completely normal?

In this little bubble world, the only place where you can really vent is the diary room. This is where editing on the producers part can have a big influence.


She seems quite normal for venting and getting annoyed.
 
I lost total respect for Tahan when she called Mikkayla a racist when in fact she was using the Asian accent herself. Sadly that is hypocritical.
Personally I didnt see it as racist but to call someone out about this when you are doing it is just ridiculous. Why she didnt think it would come out amazes me even more.

When?? Never saw that.

Did see Tahan call Mikkayla the most racist person she knows, and that Mikkayla tells racist jokes etc.

And then, BB slotted in some of that Mikka doing voices and massages. You do realise of course BB cannot broadcast the racist jokes?

I haven't seen Tahan doing any Asian accents, can you direct me to those clips please.

If you listen to what she was saying she had completely valid reasons to be annoyed and offended by what Mikkayla does and say. Mikkayla clearly doesn't like her Asian heritage and wants to be white.

Racist probably isn't the right term but it's an accepted term for such self racial dislike.

The comments that Mikkayla said about her self being Asian put in the context of making fun of being Asian does come across as racist. Not an embracing of the stereotypes. Using an 'Asian' accent in itself isn't necessarily racist. It's the context.

Tahan's main points were about Mikkayla's attitude to her own self. Not the odd impression. To Tahan it was coming across as a manifestation of Mikkayla's inability to be happy with her heritage.

Then yeah it had a clip of the Asian voices as well as Mikkayla saying she hates the fact she looks Asian. The voices was BB's editing. The only really interesting clip on the subject was Mikkayla saying she hates that she's constantly reminded she looks Asian.

Break it down, Tahan saying Mikkayla is racist. Unlike her she embraces her heritage where as Mikkayla does not. That's all it was.

How do we know Mikkayla doesnt embrace her background, we got that edited clip on her saying she hates to be reminded that she looks Asian. We dont know what the full story, apart from Big Brothers editing on the whole subject and Tahan comments. All I can go on is the fact they edited that clip with them both using the accent. That was enough for me.

Well this argument can be made for everything you disagree with that someone says in Big Brother. So it's pointless.

That's the whole, 'appeal to editing' logical fallacy to excuse away everything.


The context of what Tahan said was about Mikkayla not embracing her heritage.

Which from Tahan's perspective is the case and she see's it as racist. From you're own argument. You can't claim to make a definitive judgement.


What's the actual point of taking this on. To assert Tahan is playing some weird slander game plan?
 
This will be my last post to do with this as I dont want to take it any further. As I see no point in continuing as you have made up your mind and so have I.

I can only assume by the footage shown by Big Brother that Tahan was referring to Mikk being Racist when she was massaging Matt and using the Asian accent. Then I remember Tahan was also in that clip, as I have shown.
I dont agree with you that it was about her heritage. Going back to my original post this is why I have lost respect for her.

So as to your question why did I take it on? I thought people might like to see the full extent of what was in the video, that there was more to it than what was shown on BB and for them to make up there own minds.
 
Lol....Mikkayla is Not a racist. Tahan is either an idiot or just super super sensitive or just trying to make a mountain out of a molehill to make her look bad because she hated mikkayla already. Im thinking the latter but there's nothing wrong with anything Mikkayla said.

I'd go with super sensitive, she does seem to be over-serious about the topic of her own race and is probably the same in general about race too.

Maybe but if say, Matt was Asian and said similar comments, I can't imagine Tahan being so quick to call Matt a racist. Imo this has more to do with her hatred for Mikkayla than her being sensitive to racism.
