Off Tahan

I can't help but like tahan. I can't defend why that is, but I do. I know she is one of the bitchy hm's but her got bite spirit makes me forgive her I think. She doesn't easily get emotional like some of the girls, she is a boys kind of girl, she is sporty yet unbelievably beautiful, she has charisma, she does say it as it is, she isn't afraid to say what she wants, she has flare. I like her

Precisely, why I like her. She likes mimicking people's mannerisms and some consider it mean. It just tickles my funny bone and yes she is brash and is definitely a guy's girl. She's different from your normal girly girl and I like her. She has an interesting personality, not a boy chaser at all, confident and comfortable in her own skin and also does not harp on her glamorous life outside like some other housemates

I like brash, it's refreshing. When Tim brought up the drew and Tilly's relationship boundaries, tahan quickly responded with "I don't care". She is to the point and won't waste time on things she finds rather ridiculous. I see some of myself in her. I like her strength and that she will make humour out of a bad situation too. The girl is sharp too. It's weird as I love jade and I love tahan too. I think all girls should possess some of tahans spirit though. I just can't see anyone taking advantage of her or walking all over her. I think that's what I truly love about her.
 
Yep, you've hit the nail on the head with Tahan. She captivated me with her attitude. She really doesn't seem to want to interfere with any boy/girl relationship unlike others who want to butt in and give wrong advice.. I don't mind Jade except her pursuit of Ed and her insecurities are painful to watch.
 
Would only be "off Tahan" if it meant I'd just been on her!

Didn't have a great week edit wise......throwing Tims jacket over the fence was over the top but she was egged on by Matt and co and I think she was more pissed off that he told her he would get the hairdryer next time and then went against his word...don't blame her for that.....
Telling Mikka that she'd have her in the final 3 because she could beat her was also a bit arrogant but I don't think she's there to make friends or influence people and she's just being herself (as far as I know) which I respect.......

Until I see it - I don't believe a word that comes out of those bitch sister's mouthpiece, they just make up blatant lies about Tahan.

And they have that sister act down pat, the cry wolf,boohoo she was mean, we did that when were 10, it's a nice trick when a family member has a rep, you just yell out Mum dickhead hit me, and they get sent out of the room.......

The have a strategy, suck up to one pretty girl, and isolate and slander the other, create a showmance - but seems she neglected to maintain. These 2 can lie and cheat as a team a very unfair advantage in BB entering as a team.
 
Tahan is brash so it is easy to make her the bad guy. She is seen as the bitchy one so why not target her. I am yet to see tahan actually cause such a huge stir enough that I can't like her. All I see is some petty high school fights or just the fact she comes from a big family that it is the norm to fight brotherly and sisterly on a daily basis. She is still a fighting spirit and to me that's what makes tahan shine.

Boring to you but not to others. Apples and oranges! If getting entangled with a guy or guys is interesting then good for you, I like that she's sticking by her principles and staying true to her bf and that she is not in any particular clique. I just get the feeling that most of the housemates are very aware that they are being watched and they put forth how they want to be perceived but sometimes they come into conflict with their personalities. The older ones are in more control like Tim, Heidi, Ed and Matt or so it seems.
 
Big Brother don't seem to give Tahan much of a focus like Jade. We get a full background story on poor Jade, but yet they don't give us much with Tahan. I've seen some of her individual clips which were funny, but she is not shown much on the live show. I don't understand why they don't give her any story line like Jade and Mikkayla. Even the fake twins have a sort of storyline. I think Tahan downfall is not coming into the house single. May be if she was throwing herself at every guy in the house, they would have giving her some screen time, other than the supporting bitchy role. Tahan is my favorite in the house, despite her bitchiness, she is one of the reasons I am watching this show.

I don't think Tahan has been growing as much as a person as Jade has - Jade has had many moments in there that are insightful. Tahan has been entertaining but the only 'growing' she's really done is getting over the hairdryer situation.

Jade's got more issues than Tahan which gives the editors something to focus on I suppose
 
Tahan has not gone much into the diary room to vent whatever. She has to be called in. I notice Tim and Mikkayla doing it alot.Tim is obviously playing the game. He knows the public is watching and what they want to see and hear. Big bro is obviously pandering to the public and is focussing on relationships esp. Tully and Drew and Jade and Ed. Now Tim has jumped onto the bandwagon and is making a play for Lucy, the only single girl in the house. Initially the focus was on Jade and Drew, then it became Jade, Drew and Tully. And then there was Caleb and Lucy but things were awkward as Katie had to tag along. If Tahan were to hook up with Matt, I think Big Bro would focus on that. I also notice Mikkayla and Heidi talked abt their sex life more to garner public or Big Bro interest in themselves. Jade obviously uses her body and her wiles to get what she wants. Tully goes around hugging people and being emotional and thinks that will adhere her to them.

To be honest, there's not much else going on! Since the divide's been knocked down, and with such short weekly tasks, there really isn't much else to show.

Edit: Except for all the Drully arguing lol
 
This is not about growing as a person. You don't grow as a person in one month or two. I'm sure Tahan has a lot of Stories behind her. She is just not the type of person to reveal that much about her background and I'm sure she has a colourful background. Tahan just does not wear her heart on her sleeve and my daughter is very much like that.
 
No hm is the same. Jade is more insightful, so they are able to share her personal side. Tahan is more of your fighting chick, it's her attitude that I love to watch, the way she responds to situations and her spunk in the way she talks. They have different selling points. I like jades growing character and I like tahans stand up for yourself attitude. Overall they bring different dynamics in the house and that's what you need.

Yes that's true, they have different dynamics. I only provided a possible reason for the apparant lack of Tahan in general in the daily shows. It could just be that she isn't opening up, but as someone just mentioned she's probably just not that type of person.
 
Yeah that is my concern. After awhile you see their behaviour and it becomes predictable, but you need a insight into why the person we are watching is the way they are. Even if it is mundane, it just helps connect to the audience. I hope we see more of tahan though. Jade is my fave girl, but tahan is still up there for me
 
I really don't get the appeal of jade at all, to me she hasn't grown at all as a person, every I see her all she seems to talk about is Ed, I don't get those girls, who judges their entire self worth of what people think of them and what guy is looking at them. Zero confidence and charisma, not appealing at all.
