Tahan was mean to their faces prior to Mikkayla turning informant, so you can't really shoot the messenger when they were already aware (and hurt) by the previous instances.
They were crying before Mikkayla intervened.

Tahan was one of my favourites but what we saw tonight didn't sit well with me. Bitching about someone is one thing, but back peddling and lying when they confront you is another. Rather than admit what she said, she twisted it to make it sound not as bad as the original context. I think the sisters are genuinely nice, positive girls with hearts of gold, and I hate seeing people with hearts of gold being picked on. Sure, I'll admit the sisters aren't everyone's cup of tea, but Tahan's nastiness is out of line in my opinion. As for Mikkayla getting involved, I personally think people should be accountable for their bitching and if they don't want the person finding out, don't bitch and don't blame other people for passing on what was said.

Self-preservation mode kicking in with eviction in sight, or a common theme when handling situations like this (she did tell HMs she would be fine dealing with this - she would know what to say).

I didn't like what Tahan said either.. thought she went a little too far, especially seeing as everyone will see this as it's on tv.
However, I genuinely think she needs a lesson in how to keep things to yourself more. The other housemates are a lot more manipulative in how they talk - she's just brutally honest. We've all had thoughts like that about certain housemates we don't like, and we vocalize them, but it's different to do so in the house while everyone can see it and judge you for it.
SHE DID say she honestly didn't think they were genuine - to their face. That, to me, takes guts. I don't even think I would have said that to them, but she's being upfront with them about it.
Isn't Mikkayla supposed to be Tahan's good friend in the house? Tahan saved her and has been nothing but nice to her, so for her to do that only makes HER look like the backstabbing bitch. Tahan isn't back peddling on her negative feelings and honesty - she didn't tell the girls she was sorry or that she was awful and then run off and say the same things to others again. She didn't lie to them, and that deserves some recognition.
Honestly, the sisters ARE annoying. Are they nice girls? I'm sure they are - they seem like it. Still, for some people who DO experience and express negative feelings, it CAN come across as fake. I'm sure they experience negative feelings towards people, as they did with Tahan, but what they don't understand is that most people don't express themselves the way they do without it being fake. Good on them for being so positive though - I really feel bad for them if it's all real, because they'll probably deal with this many more times in the future.

Ohh Tahan, those comments will cost her votes I'm afraid, it was quite cruel what she said but she still doesn't come off as a mean girl to me, I think she just doesn't think before she speaks sometimes and doesn't realise some things are better kept inside your head, I still quite like her though

Great reading everyone's thoughts.
I have to say, I haven't minded Tahan throughout BB so far. She kinda struck me as quite 'young' and immature but she seemed likable enough. But, whether those twins are being true to themselves or putting the bubbliness on, it was cruel to have talked about them the way she has to other housemates and the lil comments she let's out in front of them too. Bad form, in my opinion (and of course Mikkayla was gonna run to them - we all know she is no big friend of Tahan and she seems to have no issue stirring trouble). I don't think tahan has done herself any favours, with other HMs and also with the viewers.

My opinion on Tahan hasn't changed at all! Good on her for not playing the game and speaking her mind, I would have done the same thing at her age!
Also I give her kudos due to the fact that it was a three way conversation not just a one on one to clear the air like would usually be.
It's a game, people have opinions, there's no power imbalance ie the three girls are around the same age, they are all female etc etc so to me it was not a big deal at all and if anything the bimbo twins need to harden up, they have full advantage having has come in together and being related!
All this "mean girl" crap give me a break and see it for what it is, a couple early twenties girls getting catty cause they are immature! No biggie
they'll grow out of it - but hopefully not before the end of the series for our viewing pleasure LOL!

She said really really nasty things behind a persons back. And I say let the first person who is without malicious back stabbing sin cast the first stone. While I agree it was poor form and spiteful, in her defense, what she was saying was intended to stay behind the girls back as all good gossip should. I admired the fact that when confronted with the leaked information by the girls, she was humble, she was honest, and to a point I think she felt genuinely sorry for causing the girls to be upset.
Tahan needs to remember that girls come in different wrappers. The girls like different things to Tahan, they like sparkles, hair extensions and farting rainbows and that is okay. I hate it when girls attack each other simply because they like different things, there is enough room for all of us.

This incident definately closed the gap between the twins and Tahan with where they sit with me.......
Tahan- lost some ground, unfortunately, the hair extension comment was off the cuff and mainly I think meant as "they would look ugly on me" but was misinterpreted, no biggy...I also think the put downs at the spa were a poor attempt at entertaining the house mates there.....fair to say nearly all of us have exaggerated comments in convos to try and be funny but when they are directed at a person and then that person finds out, well it's always going to back fire and then to have it televised hmmmm......She did appear a little apologetic during the chat I know it wont be popular but to get lost cred I think she needs to apologise if only for speaking behind their backs.....yes I'm aware she has said things to their face.
Twins- I would have been in the "harden up camp" but I thought they handled the actual chat really well, gained ground with me, I don't think they're fake but funny how a positive trait such as being bubbly and happy can be construed into a negative. These types of personalities are fun to have around but also great to get a spell from as if you're not in the mood it can wear thin and there's not much escape in the house! Their laugh would drive me crazy!!!

I don't agree with that at all.
The girls were hurt by some nasty words. That is not something to be celebrated or excused just because it's okay for girls to be mean. It's not okay.
This situation demonstrated two girls behaving badly, Tahan for being unnecessarily spiteful and Mikkayla for being the self appointed trouble making messenger. To disregard the hurt under the guise of "girls are mean, no biggie.." is ignorant.

The one that came off the worst in my eyes is Mikkayla. That behaviour was purely to cause trouble.
Tahan made a mistake, no doubt, but I admire the fact she was direct and humbled when caught out, and in all fairness, who hasn't been caught out talking behind someones back? I too think the pink girls communicated their feelings with Tahan beautifully, and I think Tahan learned just because a girl is unnaturally blonde, pink and sparkly, doesn't make her dumb. It just makes her a girl who likes being unnaturally blonde, pink and sparkly.
