My Kitchen Rules! Yay!

Has anyone entered the MKR comp, where you tell them about your food finds???

I have a few - but some I wouldn't want advertised, then they would get over-run with more people and I want them to stay under the radar so I can still get a table.
One is place on the beach - and unless you walk along the beach you wouldn't know it's there; other is a little French place in the burbs.

I think she said cack. It looked like cack.

I wish they would do a Best Lazy Cook/Best Quick & Easy Meal Maker ......or something like that as a show

It would be a whole lot more useful & how we really cook - you know, how you do meals around working - either you plan it in the slow cooker or it's a quickie with bottled sauces and aids, quick cooking stuff.

All these cooking shows are too foodie posing.

It was a bit of a foregone conclusion wasn't it? You could tell that Jenna & Joanna probably lost because Cupcake was totally unable to crack a smile in the after-elimination interviews, I've never seen a contestant so defeated.
 
I just love how expressive Little Miss Pink's facials are. I know sadness should never make you laugh, but her face is so beautifully innocently sad, it reminds me of a two year old face when they drop their ice-cream, even though you feel their pain, you can't help but smile that something so small can literally break their little heart.

There is no disputing to get to this point Miss Pink can cook, she just can cook under pressure.

I like them all, but when it come to the sudden death kooo koooof (say it with a French accent) Dad and mini Dad are my least favourite. Although I like Miss Pink and her partner, I prefer the Italian Mob Wives. Their dress style, hair and make up alone should have them back in the competition!

...I don't particularly like or dislike Ashlee and Sophia... (lets face it MKR would be pretty much boring if they happened to leave the show)... they do play the scripted 'bitches' role rather well after all...

...I discovered this image on the Internet today and thought that it was a bit unfair on Sophia myself...

...I seem to remember that one or more people on these forums have something to do with the medical profession in one way or another... does Sophia have a very strong facial tic or some sort of psychological disorder that makes her contort her mouth when she speaks?... her mouth always seems to go to the lefthand side of her face when she does it...

...I'm not making fun of her problem... someone that I used to work with had the same problem to about the same degree that she has but I was never game to ask her what caused it...

...does anyone know what causes her mouth to contort in the way that it does?... I really am curious as to the answer... again... I'm not making fun of her... ( there have been quite a number of angry exchanges on these forums as of late and I can't be arsed to be part of one of them :cool:)... cheers.
 
The braces have been suggested, she would be concious of having to ennunciate clearly because of the braces????

And all I have to say is - most of them are shit.

35 and your still there! Has happened a couple of times now.
They are in fact so bad most of them, they had to introduce bootcamp cooking with Colin.

I expect it's all together frustrating for the very few who can cook.

...I thought that too... then I thought that as with some stutterers when they get frustrated because they can't quite get their words out... their faces sometimes contort a little bit because they are struggling to speak fluently and over-exaggerate the words to make them come out better... perhaps that's all it is... she's just very aware of getting the words out clearly?... perhaps you're right?... cheers.

I'd believe that if you hadn't posted the picture. I just don't think it's cool to use the word retard in relation to anyone.
