Yeah, I've already mentioned the booze factor. Estelle was definitely a little pissed and very merry in the diary room after the post nom drinks.
I knew I had read the booze, and I think you may just be correct.

... I don't know who he thinks he is. But he seems to be disgusted by any girl who shows him any attention or romantic interest. He needs to get a grip. He is so far from being attractive it isn't even funny. Its also a little pathetic when people rate themselves a little too highly looks and personality wise!
Yeah, at first I thought it might have been strategy on Mikey's part but nah, I just reckon they were both on a bit of an emotional high after the friend/family visit and may have drunk a little more than usual as a result.
Michael is clearly conflicted about Estelle though. When they cuddled in bed he was certainly touchy-feely - we saw him stroking her hair and her arm, and he was the one we saw motioning to Estelle to come over to join him in his bed. The guy's a fuckwit. If he is so turned-off by the whole thing - as he keeps telling Stacey & Ben - then he should just back off from Estelle, just tell her he doesn't want to keep cuddling. She would be totally cool with it.
You stated in your original post ANY girl, ANY girl refers to ANY girl. You also stated he SEEMS to be disgusted by ANY girl, which would indicate a wider sampling than those in the house, since apparently you are Nostradamus and a fine back-pedaller. So no, Nostradamus, it's related. It's also completely related since it's extrapolating from your original assertion which was this:
So failing to reciprocate 'romantic interest' = 'rating oneself highly'.
By your reckoning, since Michael is so far from being attractive it isn't even funny he should therefore be a) grateful for all romantic interest and/or attention and b) reciprocate that romantic interest and/or attention. In the Big Brother house. In a laundromat. In a police line-up. On an internet forum.
PS http://thesaurus.com/browse/pathetic?s=t (some alternative insults for you, because you're dead right, if there was a drinking game for 'pathetic' after reading your posts I would be sloshed)

Ok. Try this. Ugly Michael is on a train. Random woman gropes him. Since Michael is so unattractive it isn't even funny, he should be honoured by that attention and romantic interest.
Better? That's a completely related example, in the context of exactly what you said.
PS Is there a drinking game for 'pathetic'?
You certainly are not a straight guy. If you were you would know that no straight man would repulsively freak out if a girl who looked like Estelle whom they did not know got touchy feely with their thigh. Just wouldn't happen.
What a terrible generalisation, neither of us know Michael besides for the snippets of him in Big Brother.

Actually it was a humble brag and Michael is full of it.Slotting everyone into neat little boxes. Spoiler alert: not everyone is the same. Michael didn't repulsively freak out. He did not freak out at all with her in fact. What he did do was speak privately to his close friend about it making him uncomfortable, about feeling terrible.
