Michael in love with Layla?i

Does anyone else think that Michael has the hots for Layla? He is always complimenting her on how beautiful she is and on today's show he reassured her that lots of guys would line up to marry her. Actually I think they would make a nice couple- better than her and meathead Sam. I imagine Michael would give her the confidence and attention she so clearly craves from a guy. Sam, on the other hand, seems too much of a player, and I don't believe he is that interested in Layla. What do others think?

Layla's way too daft and bland for Michael, I think. He's said before that his ideal woman is someone with Layla's body and Stacey's personality (loads of it).
 
Michael is in love with josh. He is just a kind person who compliments people. Sam wins tho.
 
Sam dumps her the second he exits the house. Not even in doubt.
 
I am pretty sure there is enough fantasy relationships in this house without us imaging any more. Michael is just trying to win audience brownie points back after incinerating her rollers and designer bag.
 
For someone who is so against in-house relationships, he sure wasn't complaining when Layla snuggled with him for the whole 2 days that it lasted.

I also thought that he liked her but the feeling wasn't mutual.
 
In love with her looks, definately. Personality, not so much. I agree with fatpants, he said that she says nothing and has mentioned that she's a bit thick.

Btw is duckie meant to be from pretty in pink, if not, continue as u were lol.
 
I think Stacey and Layla would both bore Michael fairly quickly. I know a guy with a similar personality to Michael, he needs girls who hang off his every word. He needs adulation, not comedy or good looks. The more I see of Michael, the more I think he's very much the same type of guy as my friend.

He is like a greek philosopher (ala Socrates) that needs and audience to pontificate to.

Yes, I think so. He seems like he likes to think of himself as the genius, albeit the pseudo modest one who tells people he doesn't like to talk about it - even though he's just told them all about it - (kind of reminds me of Ada and her "I don't look for fame" speech while she was in on a national tv show) and if he is anything like my friend, he'd be wanting to surround himself with people who are totally sucked in by the persona. For that type of person, to be hailed a genius and treated like there is majesty and wisdom in their every word is to set them up for a lifetime of pleasure. And I think that is the type of potential partner Michael would be looking for. Not an intellectual equal, an intellectual groupie.
 
Michael would bore the shit out of me with his standards of personal Hygeine, his unwillingness to assist with any type of cleaning and his smug pontificating about issues of irrelevance.

In the diary room BB asked Michael if he felt guilty and Michael responded : "It's not in my nature to feel.." and then he stopped short realising what he was about to say. He did not feel guilty at all and his nice guy persona is just a act.
