Michael career ambitions

Was talking to a friend at the pub last night and he reckons his brother knows Michael from uni and that apparently he has an interest in doing stand up comedy. Personally I just can't see it. He is just too wooden and his attempts at voices and excitement are pathetic.

Gotta say though that one of my most favourite Australian comics is Tom Gleeson, a gingerhead. Here's one of his routines on homophobia...

There is something weird about one heterosexual man being this obsessed with another heterosexual man - particularly to the point where one of them are up all night fossicking through the others photos and uploading them one by one with written commentary.

Maybe the whole "look at me I LOVE ageing porn stars, fundamental fucking and watching girls do doggy" is a front...

I so agree with you. Unless your name is Michael Winslow, I find voices/characters SO un-funny. They're too fake, forced, and "look at me I'm so funny". There is SO much in this world that this is bloody hilarious/ironic/whatever (a la observational humour) that manufactured "humour" is IMO stupid.
