Matt's a soldier doesn't make him a good person.

I totally understand that being a soldier is a selfless job but I just don't get how people can't see right through him, he is minipululative controlling and condescending, I can say I can't think of one time he has made me have a giggle or be interested in a conversation he is having. I really hope people can see through these smoke and mirrors.

I don't think Matt's popularity is due to him being a soldier. It is more to with his laid-back fair-dinkum Aussie persona and his abdominal muscles. Unfortunately that is what a lot of voters think they want in a housemate.
